The outside of the building is very quaint and the setting is lovely.

After you leave the beautiful central staircase you enter through a plain fire door into a corridor that looked like a student halls. Not great if you want good internet. We did not like being asked to pay on check out even though we had paid up front.

Location and garden. Being able to eat on a terrace. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Toilet in bedroom, no TV or radio, breakfast lacked imagination and choice of produce, very little choice of meats, bread, eggs, cheese. The gardens are a little neglected lots of weeds in the terrace borders. Service very pleasant though. The room was in need of an update. Decor very tired.

The tranquil Manoir du Stang was the perfect location for a relaxing holiday

It’s a beautiful building. the grounds are lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake. Pretty villages and beaches are only a short drive away

The old floorboards are very creaky, you can hear everyone walking around Nothing within walking distance, needed the car.

A B&B Hotel

The entire staff appeared to be just one person, albeit a very congenial and interesting man.

Bit too remote to not offer full board. Booking described it as a hotel....but it is a b&b. Feels a bit like it's on its last legs.

A beautifully maintained historic manor house. Extremely comfortable bed in a picturesque quiet rural setting less than 5 minutes drive to the village. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Herrschaftliches Haus mit schönem Umschwung

Wunderschönes Haus mit wunderschöner Alleezufahrt. Es hat einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Manoir und zum Ausladen kann auch direkt vor das Gebäude gefahren werden. Die Zimmer sind schön ausgestattet mit alten Möbeln und sauber. Aufgrund des Alter des Hauses Knarren die Böden und der Teppichboden riecht ein bisschen aber darauf waren wir vorbereitet.

Das Frühstück war klein aber fein, mit wunderbarer Aussicht über den "Garten", aber ein klein bisschen mehr Auswahl würde nicht schaden. Auch ein Duschvorhang bei der Badewanne wäre sehr hilfreich, da nur mit der Badewanne ein Duschen schwierig ist wenn man nicht den ganzen Raum unter Wasser setzen will, vor allem wenn man lange Haare waschen muss. Mit dem Garten könnte man auch noch ein wenig mehr machen.

Een verzorgd en vers ontbijt: elke dag yoghurt, vers fruit, verse confituren, een (koud) hard gekookt eitje, croissants, stokbrood, beleg en kaas! Locatie was top! In een historisch manoir, met mooi buitenterras en zicht op de parktuin! Heel vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbater ('s avonds om 21u15 nog een planche met beleg en kaas kunnen bestellen ondanks redelijk laat uur van bestellen) alsook zijn personeel! Mooie, rustieke en authentieke omgeving! Salon met pooltafel!

Déçu...

Belle demeure vue de l'extérieur, bel escalier, salon de repos/billard agréable.

La déception commence à l'intérieur.. Chambre sans télé au mobilier disparate, sans charme, au papier peint décollé. Sbd 70's restée dans son jus.. un rideau de douche, même en simple matière plastique aurait permis de se doucher dans la baignoire sans avoir à se contorsionner! Une salle de petit déjeuner froide à l'image de son propriétaire peu avenant et encore plus au départ qu'à l'arrivée.. Un petit déjeuner qui nourrit mais très basique en terme de choix. La prestation fournie n'est clairement pas à la hauteur du prix payé. L'effet carrosse des photos se sera vite transformé en citrouille!!!

Idéal pour visiter la région

on Tout d’abord le lieu : le manoir est superbe, entouré de verdure, avec des grands étangs sur l’arrière. Ceux-ci abritent une faune incroyable, de nombreuses aigrettes, des batraciens, des canards et des poules d’eau. Si le temps le permet il est possible de prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse face aux étangs. À l’intérieur vous avez accès à un grand salon avec billard et la salle du petit déjeuner Nous avions pris une chambre familiale qui était vraiment grande : en fait une chambre avec un grand lit et l’autre chambre était de l’autre côté de la grande salle de bain. La literie est très confortable et en dehors des batraciens on entend rien. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et complet : croissants et pain, beurre et confitures. Pour le salé des œufs durs, quelquefois des tomates cerises, fromage et charcuterie, une grande corbeille de fruits, yaourt et jus d’orange. Le propriétaire est enjoué et aux petits soins. Pour finir, la situation est idéale pour visiter la région. Pleins de choses à voir à peu de distance, possibilité d’aller jusqu’au port à pieds et faire une belle balade. En résumé, un lieu magnifique pour poser ses valises. Sûr que nous y reviendrons si nous voulons revenir dans cette région
