Barù in Chiaia

Rosanna’s place is very well located, just a few minutes from Chiaia with plenty of shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of Via Toledo and many of the main sights. There’s also a metro station 3–4 minutes away. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a large comfy bed, air conditioning, a small fridge, kettle and coffee machine with capsules. The private bathroom is across the corridor, but it’s exclusively for the room and locks with the same key, so we didn’t mind at all. Everything was very neat, with great attention to detail. We also really appreciated being allowed to check in a little early.

Not a negative really but a thing to keep in mind: Breakfast is a typical Italian breakfast with cornetto, coffee and yoghurt, so don’t expect savoury options. On our departure day we had arranged breakfast for 8am and Rosanna kindly offered to make scrambled eggs, but unfortunately no one was around. The table was set with coffee and croissants though, so we could still have a quick bite before leaving. Also, the city tax is paid separately in cash. It would have been more convenient to have it included in the price, as many tourists don’t carry much cash.

Tutto pulito, posizione perfetta, proprietaria super gentile e disponibile.

Very clean from the start of vacation to end Hospitality was top draw

The Position was great with the Metro 5mins walk away and the Main Street of Naples a few minutes more. Rosanna is a great host! She really looked after us well giving advice etc on our trips to Pompeii and Vesuvius, Well positioned to explore Naples. The room was clean and bright with a very comfortable bed and was cleaned everyday. Rosanna's breakfasts are delicious and her attention to every detail is exceptional she would ask everyday if we wanted something different we got it! I'd highly recommend to stay at Baru in Chiaia and experience Rosanna's hospitality yourself.

From the very first step, you feel « at home”. Rosanna is such a wonderful person - a true italian treasure! She was so kind to our 2 years old daughter and made her a home made dinner. Thanks again Rosanna for the perfect stay with you and Baru!
