Home By Hagley Park

Location was excellent- close to hagley park, riccarton mall and Westbrook arena. Very roomy home!! The host had the heat pump on when we arrived which was great as it was very cold!

We had to clean out the cutlery drawer - lots of crumbs. And a couple of saucepans needed a scrub due to burnt food stains. Apart from that the home was very clean.

Great location for all Chch activities

Nothing greatplace would stay again

The location was excellent and there was good off street parking. The house was clean and tidy and everything was placed nicely. There wasn't excess furniture or unnecessary features. There was a working BBQ which was awesome to enjoy the terrace space and cook with. The bins were taken care of and was easy to find the location. The washer drier worked well and had other useful things, such as a dishwasher.

The door code was also on the padlock beside the door and this felt unsafe like if anyone tried the code they could get in. I feel more secure with a direct message of the code. There were bins at the front and back of the house which was initially confusing as to which ones should be used.

Liked location, size and layout of property.

Didn't like the door lock. Could be a bit more comfortable. Kitchen looking tired. Maybe a set of drawers in the bedrooms. We were there for nearly 3 weeks. Maybe if you had a shorter stay it wouldn't matter the same. Not that our party needed them but could have games etc. Plenty of cupboard space to accommodate board games, cards.
