Acropolis Dream Apartment

The location of the apartment was fantastic, right in the hub of lots of bars and restaurants and a short walk to the popular shops. We visited the acropolis which you have a great view of and can see clearly from the top floor of the apartment block. The beds were very comfortable too.

Nothing. It had everything we needed and the host was easy to contact and always answered questions quickly.

Location and cleaning

Amazing location right in the center of Athens, everything was within walking distance. The host was responsive and kindly let us check in before 15:00, which we really appreciated.

The bathroom door was very difficult to use and definitely needs attention. The apartment could also benefit from a few small updates and a deeper clean.

Big beds, big bedrooms, minimalistic style. High quality appliances. The location is in the city center close to everything.

The communication with he host was difficult and had to chase them to get the pin code to enter the flat couple of times. When asked about parking suggestions was ingnored and only information provided was a generic one. It seemed as no care was given to communicate with us or make us feel welcomed. The entrance is quite difficult to find. Could not find the box with entrance door keys so had to wait for tenants to open the door to the building. The building itself is in need of repair, the door handle of the building entrance came out as I was closing it. The apartment itself is also in need of repair to be classified as "luxury" for example some walls had fillers/no paint, sauna not working, several broken electronics just hanging from the wall by the wire, bathroom door frame was detached etc... We can imagine it looked beautiful when it was first rented out but now the place starts to look like it is deteriorating. Message to the host: Please change the toilet brush! It is just disgusting
