Situated in the heart of this popular seaside resort and less than a five-minute walk from the extensive sandy beach and promenade and moments away from a fantastic sea view, Billy Napp’s Cottage is an original fisherman’s cottage dating from the 1700s and is situated on the oldest street in Filey. The cottage has many interesting features including exposed beams and provides comfortable holiday accommodation for a family or group of friends. Toiletries such as fine Scottish soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are now provided in the family bathroom. The owners have also thoughtfully provided home-from-home items, such as an iron and hairdryer, and also have provided a beach windbreak and beach items for a fun packed day by the seaside. Outside is an enclosed south facing patio which is a real suntrap, ideal for al-fresco dining on warm summer days and relaxing after a day exploring this magnificent shoreline. On road parking is available.
Filey is a traditional seaside town which is sheltered by the rock cliffs of Filey Brigg, a haven for birds and wildlife. Spot seals in the shallow pools, visit the RSPB reserve at Bempton with the spectacular cliffs of Flamborough Head just along the coastline. Filey has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants with numerous attractions for all the family including surfing, fishing, yachting and golf, with many coastal walks and cycle routes, or head inland to Dalby Forest. Along the seashore are many quaint fishing villages with the larger seaside towns of Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby just a short drive.

Beautiful cottage like home from home. Very comfy beds. Lots of amenities in the village.Lovely place to stay. A real credit to the owners. Welcome pack upon arrival with lots of goodies for us and the dogs. Would highly recommend the cottage to stay in.

Everything about this home is spot on. It has everything u can ever think of. Perfect location. Great history available. The beds and pillows are THE comfiest I have ever had. Come back home and ordered them for myself. Lovely back garden, safe for dogs. Has sun all day through till 7/8 pm. Within walking distance to everything u need. Really welcoming. Will not hesitate to come back. In fact I don’t think we will go anywhere else now. I hope to book again in the winter. Host is brilliant. Promptly answers any queries and instructions for everything are everywhere. Amazing place. Loved every second of our stay. My son is autistic and he finds it hard to settle anywhere new. He walked in his bedroom and said he was “home”

We have spent a lovely 3 night break with our family over August bank holiday.. It was spotlessly clean and was very well-equipped with everything you might to make it an enjoyable breakaway. Would definitely recommend this delightful cottage.

Wonderful as usual,clean warm ,well equipped. The new kitchen is smashing ,bed wonderful to sleep in .very happy with the new covid measure,s ,no more intrusive than you would normally do at home .We have already booked for next year xxx
