There is a convenience store at the petrol station 200 yards away. Shop and pub 600 yards, restaurant 400 yards.

A lovely well situated cottage on the outskirts of Keswick. It had everything we needed for our stay. One or two of the nooks and crannies had been missed by the cleaning team but on the whole it was clean and tidy. The beds were a little bit uncomfortable but not enough to put us off returning to polperro.

Lovely bungalow but needs more furniture in the conservatory and lounge furniture needs updating.
I think the drive and gardens need to be improved (to many steps and slopes)

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The conservatory was my favourite place to sit and look out at the garden and the the distant hills. The living room is really spacious and the bedrooms were a reasonable size. Just a little warning though as my elderly mum finds steps challenging and just managed the steps at the front and rear of the cottage and there is a fairly high step from the kitchen to the back lobby so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with severe mobility issues.

Was a very good place to stay for my elderly father and myself, although important to note that 3 steps up to house, whichever door used, presumably because of flood risk.
One small thing, it would have been helpful to have a small shelf or similar in the shower cubicle. Excellently situated for access to other parts of the Lake District.
