Situated on a working farm overlooking a large fishing lake and surrounded by sheep, this cottage is a great romantic getaway for two.. All on the Ground Floor:

Garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Shared grounds. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a lake within the grounds.. With seaside villages like Bigbury, Thurlestone, Bantham and Mothercombe, this area of the country is perfect for walking, swimming and surfing. Shop and restaurant 2 miles. Pub 3/4 mile.

Relaxing week away in a comfortable and well equipped cottage. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook a meal from scratch.Not far to go to Totnes and Plymouth with their attractions.

The cottage is quite isolated but that suited us fine. The peace and tranquility appealed to us and we enjoyed fishing the lake. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the equipment, microwave, kettle, full oven & hob, washing machine & dishwasher. There was a tv in the lounge and the bathroom was lovely and clean. The cottage is on a working farm and is very secluded but as already stated this suited us perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can definitely recommend this cottage.

Yes really enjoyed our visit to The Garden Cottage. It was very clean and comfortable.
The local pubs served fabulous food and the staff were very friendly.
Loved the local beach and enjoyed our walks followed by bacon baps and chips from the beach cafe.
