A fabulous location that has something for everyone, the area is a must for water sports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the famous Tarka Trail. North Devon has wonderful beaches and is well positioned for visits to Exmoor, Dartmoor and North Cornwall. At Croyde and Woolacombe, discover some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor and the South West Coastal Path are located close by and there are NT properties at Arlington and Knighthayes. Shops ½ mile, pub, beach and restaurants approximately ¼ mile.

The property was attractive, warm, clean and compact. It was private and the garden was secure for the dog. The owner was very helpful and we appreciated the lovely cake and eggs.
As the weather was very bad and overcast for most of our stay the lighting in the main room was not bright enough to read in comfort .
We were not able to take advantage of very local amenities and walks due to the weather conditions so can’t reasonably comment on them.

A very pleasant week considering the Virus restrictions. The only downside was entering the main road with traffic going very fast past the cottage, even though the road has a 40mph limit.
