About this cottage rental
Offering spacious accommodation for two guests, this bright and inviting holiday home is perfect for walkers, nature spotters, beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts exploring an unforgettable part of the Devon coastline. The cheerful village of Braunton is home to the Museum of British Surfing and the tranquil Braunton Burrows, a large sand dune system and centrepiece of the UNESCO North Devon Biosphere Reserve. The stunning beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are all within 8 miles, offering wide stretches of golden sand. To the north, the thriving resort of Ilfracombe (8 miles) features a wealth of great pubs, cafes and restaurants, with a bustling harbour offering boat trips out to the idyllic island of Lundy. Walkers can follow the South West Coast Path to Baggy Point (6.5 miles) and Morte Point (7.5 miles) or you can head north-west to the outskirts of the breathtaking Exmoor National Park (8.5 miles).
Entering this light, fresh and spacious property, you will be greeted by a cheerful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offering a cosy space for you to unwind in after a fantastic day exploring North Devon. The bright and cheery lounge has a Smart TV and comfortable seating, including a handy sofa bed. There’s a cosy dining table over in one corner, perfect for romantic meals which you can prepare in the stylishly arranged kitchen. The sleek and fully equipped kitchen also features a useful breakfast bar and plenty of storage space. An additional WC can be found on the ground floor. Stairs lead up to the bright and spacious bedroom. This room is set in the eaves of the property, with low sloping ceilings, ample storage and a lovely king-size bed alongside a refreshing en-suite shower room.
From the main living area, a door opens out onto an enclosed decked patio space with garden furniture, making a relaxing spot for a morning coffee or some al fresco dining. Parking is available for one car on the gravelled area in front of the cottage.
