At the local inn, tasty crab sandwiches and local beer can be enjoyed. Rowing boats can be hired to explore the river banks. Sandy beach at Mothecombe (4 miles). Good coastal walking. Dartmoor within 10 miles. Plymouth, 7 miles. Shops 1½ miles.

A beautiful setting, lovely views, comfortable cottage but needs clearer user information about the hob. Many of the leaflets need updating including the bus timetable. Our second visit and we would stay again.

We had a 3 week holiday in Topsail with great weather. Loving the view and surroundings every single day! Neighbours were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Thank you James. The comfort of the house is good and clean. Kitchen is very well equiped.

Superb location. Views to die for. You will spend hours in the window seat. Pubs excellent. Shops good but difficult to get to at high tide without the car. Gas & elec charged extra but cost was reasonable. Our second visit did not disappoint.
