Situated in 500 acres of Brightling Park, attractive barn, with oak floor, beams and four poster, walks from the door.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview TV, CD Player, DVD Player, DVDs, Sofa Bed (Flexible Sleeping Only)
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Garden with terrace, sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond and stream in the grounds.. In the High Weald AONB and converted to a high standard, this attractive, single-storey barn is accessed via a track ¼ mile from the lane and lies quietly in 500 acres of Brightling Park (once known as The Rose Hill Estate) with sheep and horses on the farm. Brightling is famous for the many Fuller follies. Excellent walks on the doorstep. Visit Bateman’s (Kipling’s home) and Sarah Raven’s famous cutting garden at Perch Hill. Rye and Tunbridge Wells are 30 minutes by car, Brighton is 45 minutes. Mainline station to London is 5 minutes’ drive from Robertsbridge. Shop and pub 2 miles.
Coblye Barn (PJJR) and Ox Lodge Barn (PQQW), situated 1 mile apart, can be booked together to accommodate up to 7 guests.

A comfortable cosy barn in the middle of a field full of sheep, no phone signal, reasonable wifi. If you love solitude then this is for you, this was our 5th visit and we love it. Not to say that civilisation isnt far away, Battle is down the road, a decent pub about a mile away, but listening to the owls hoot at night is just bliss

Great holiday but tainted by excessive expensive added charges to switch dates through no fault of mine. The holiday cottage is lovely for couples or single persons with pets.

A lovely cottage/barn and just perfect for two people and a dog for peace and quiet and beautiful countryside. Good walks right from the barn and more a bit further afield plus coast.
