About this cottage rental

Situated in the gorgeous East Sussex countryside, this property is in the heart of Holbeam Wood Farm, located between the villages of Wadhurst and Ticehurst, just 2 miles away in each direction, making it the ideal getaway for a family or group of friends looking for a rural breakaway. Spend a tranquil day out at the beautiful gardens of Sissinghurst located just 12 miles away or tee off at the Dale Hill golf course just 3 miles away. For 11 acres of delightful gardens, take a trip to Pashley Manor Gardens (3.5 miles). The National Trust’s Bodiam Castle, a 14th-century moated castle, is well worth a visit and lies just 10 miles away. A range of activities - including water sports, fishing, walking and cycling – can be found at Bewl Water, 7.5 miles away.

This property is packed with charm from the moment you step through the front door. The spacious open-plan living area features wooden flooring and spotlights in the ceiling. Plenty of comfortable seating is arranged around a wood burner and TV. A large wooden table with chairs provides a sociable dining space. The neutral, relaxing colour scheme flows through to the bright and airy kitchen. With panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows, the master king-size bedroom provides an inviting space to relax. From here you can head straight out on to the terrace. A sizeable bathroom with bath and a bath and separate shower completes the layout of this floor. Heading upstairs, there are two bedrooms under the eaves. The cosy single with wooden furniture and a tub chair, leads through to a twin. Here you’ll find a comfy tub chair, rustic chest of drawers and fire escape door.

The raised terrace area is ideally situated for taking in the spectacular rural views while enjoying a drink or meal alfresco.
