There are many excellent walking and cycling opportunities with quiet lanes and designated trails direct from the doorstep. Visit bustling market towns, pretty villages and excellent sandy beaches. The seaside towns of Sheringham, 8 miles, and Cromer, 9 miles, offer an array of activities for all ages and excellent beaches. Other places to visit include Holt, Blakeney Quay and Norwich with its excellent shopping, cathedral, theatre, castle, museum, cafes and restaurants. National Trust properties include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park. Wroxham, 18 miles, is the capital of the Norfolk Broads and has miles of inland waterways, where daily boat hire and river trips are available, as well as delightful waterside cafes, restaurants and shops.
