Great opportunity for some much needed R&R with the privacy of this home. The pool with in-pool sun deck is ready for your enjoyment.
There is no shortage of “Beach House” feel in this charming Venice home. From the moment you step in the front door you will think you are at a beach house. The owners have taken great interest (and obvious enjoyment) in decorating this home with their creative talent. This is a newer home built with an open-concept approach and has vaulted ceilings for added brightness and spacious feel. The furnishings and every ounce of unique décor are perfectly coordinated against the backdrop of the soothing pastel wall colors. You will have no choice but to relax here.
I would wonder if the owners enthusiasm for decorating was inspired by the proximity of this home to several beaches. You can use the kayaks located at this home to explore the mangroves and sea life. The kayaks are each equipped with a wheeled cart for easy transport from SUV or truck to a launch. Keep your eyes open for manatee and dolphins. It would not be rare to see them. In shallow water you may even find inhabited Conch shells.
Whether you spent a pleasant day at the beach lounging and shelling, or maybe you found adventure with the bicycles or kayaks, you will find peace and tranquility upon your arrival back home. The home has two inviting bedrooms with the master having its own on-suite bathroom featuring a soaking tub. There is plenty of room to spread out with your choice of family room (featuring queen-size sleeper sofa) or living room to relax and put your feet up. The kitchen overlooks the living room for continued interaction and conversation during meal preparation. Enjoy a peaceful dinner on the lanai overlooking the undeveloped green space behind the home; a residence for native birds and gopher tortoise.
This warm and inviting home welcomes you and your family. Bring Spot or Rover too. Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee/per pet. The backyard is completely fenced by a privacy fence to the west and the remaining perimeter is enclosed by a decorative fence to allow unobstructed view of green foliage. There is no indication that dogs are allowed as this home is meticulously maintained.
The location of this home is in a coastal community with the opportunity to visit several beaches in Venice, to the north in Sarasota, or to the south in Englewood.
Pool Heat is optional and available for an additional $110/week plus tax. Please inquire before or after reservation is made if you would like pool heat added to your reservation.

Very delighted by this two bedroom place with a personal pool! There were two "TV/family" rooms for use - one with the pull-out sofa and one main one. (We did not use the pull-out sofa.) The host provided a binder with clear instructions for the place and even light switches were labeled:) The pool was well-maintained. The screened in lanai had both a place for meals and lounge chairs to fully enjoy. The location in South Venice is a short drive from both the regular conveniences as well as Manasota Beach (great for finding shark teeth) and marinas for scuba diving or deep-sea fishing charters. The garage had a number of miscellaneous convenience items to include coolers for day trips as well as items for searching for shark teeth on the beaches. The host was very communicative and easily reachable at all times. I highly recommend this place for couples or small families!

House was even nicer in person and had everything we needed for our week stay in Venice. House was very clean, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were both nicely sized, kitchen had everything we needed, pool area was spacious and enjoyed by everyone. Perfectly located- close to both Venice Beach and Manasota beach (recommend checking out both), Publix, Target, and numerous great restaurants yet perfectly tucked away in a nice, safe neighborhood that we enjoyed walking every morning snd evening. Garage was nice to pull the Jeep into and had everything we needed for beach visits (umbrella, cooler, chairs, sand sifters, etc) which was fantastic. Our friends were envious that their condo didnt have nearly as many amenities as our rental did. Lemon Bay Preserve has nice, dog friendly trails if you enjoy an easy hike with lots of opportunities to see wildlife. Would definitely recommend renting this home to friends, family, and anyone looking to have a great Florida vacation.

If you've never stayed in this area before the location is amazing! The neighborhood is a mix bag of local year round residents and snow birds. You have access to your own private beach for this neighborhood on the South Venice Ferry which runs every half an hour. It's our favorite way to enjoy the beach and search for sharks teeth without all the crowds. :) This property's pool is amazing too- I'd suggest you pay extra for it to be heated. It has a great sunning deck ideal for the littles to play on and goes up to 5ft deep. They have a safety fence that fences in the pool too- which as a mama gave me great peace of mind with 4 kids.
The house was decorated cute and beach-y themed but was tired, rather dirty (as in needing a nice deep clean) and disappointing. I did mention these issue to the property manager so hopefully changes will be made for the next renter!
