About this house rental
Captain's Cove your premier Norris Lake destination with the family in mind.
There are 9 spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms. and a half bath on the top and bottom floor. Walk out the patio door to the waterfront, enjoy the double-decker dock with wet slide, and a view of the cove of Norris Lake. The cove is quiet, there are no waves from lake traffic, great swimming for all ages.
The top floor has a large open kitchen equipped with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, gas range, large pantry, the large bar that seats 7, granite countertops, dining room, and living room. The living room has an awesome view of the cove with a half bath for everyone to use. There are 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, one with a daybed and the other with a sitting area.
The middle floor has a centralized washer/dryer and living area. The four bedrooms on this floor all have attached bathrooms. One bedroom has an antique king bed with antique cabinets and a view of the cove. The other three bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, 2 bedrooms have an additional daybed, and one a sitting area.
The bottom level has 3 bedrooms, one with an attached bath, and the other two are attached with a Jack N Jill bathroom. There is a half bath on this level for everyone to use. The full-size arcades has thousands of games on it, but don't worry, the captain has it set to free play to ensure hours of family fun. So after making memories on the lake, you can kick back, listen to some music, and put your initials up on your favorite games.
We now have Comcast high-speed internet. You can stay in touch with work or school right at the cabin if you have to.
On the bottom deck is an 8-person hot tub. The steps lead to a lower patio with a fire pit. The double-decker dock has a wet slide, a jumping gate, and a covered boat slip. The boat ramp is in sight from the house and is available anytime to put in the water. There are several marinas nearby where you could rent a boat if you want to.
Captain's Cove has plenty of parking located in Lakeside Estates. Easy access, 20 minutes off I-75.
Please note that from October to April, we have seasonal water, and the dock will be removed. Don't worry, the fun never stops at Captains!

It was a perfect getaway for our annual family trip. The perfect size and location.

This home was just as advertised. Beautiful setting along Norris Lake. Our cousins, kids, nieces and nephews and grandkids had a blast. I highly recommend getting the toy package as for our group (adult to child) enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The second deck water slide was a hit with young and old. Never had an opportunity to get in the hot tub but am told it was great.
We spent the majority of our day outside enjoying the scenery. We managed to go hiking in Little Egypt TN and viewed some spectacular water falls. The hike is a little challenging but well worth the sweat.
Our group of 24 were easily housed in this home. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some peace and quiet or total chaos. It was wonderful for family time. Would definitely rent this home again.
The owners, Curtis/Abbie were very, very responsive. They usually responded in less than an hour.

Captains Cove was the perfect house for our family reunion! We had 5 families with 22 people total ranging in age from 70’s-7 months. We have stayed in multiple houses on Norris lake and this one by far has the best lake access, bedroom/bathroom setup and the arcade games were a bonus! Definitely plan to come back again!
