This beautiful 4500 sq. ft. lakefront home sits on Norris lake near the Cedar Creek Road jumping bridge landmark in the popular Lakeside Estates. Waker’s Paradise is tucked into the wooded mountainside facing the lake for a panoramic view of the mountains and water.
This 3 story open floor plan lake house is a large group vacationers dream featuring 9 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms and sleeps 32. Features 3 full length 50-foot-wide decks (that's 1500 additional sq. ft. of living space for your enjoyment) all with beautiful lake and mountain views. A large main kitchen on the main floor, plus kitchenette with wet bar on the lower level. A laundry room on the middle level. A 2 story private dock with covered slip, electric outlets, dock furniture and a slide! In addition, we have a dedicated driveway for parking. Free internet, long distance and cable.
The main floor features a fireplace, wood flooring, vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators. For dining, you’ll have 2 large tables and a large island/bar with additional seating. The large covered deck overlooking the lake has tables, chairs, and a large commercial grade gas grill for large groups. There are 2 bedrooms one King master bedroom with standing tiled shower bath, and one Queen bed with a full bath. The master bedroom walks out onto the large top deck and has a private bathroom. Finally, there is also a family room with a large screen TV and 3 couches.
The middle level features a family room with a large screen TV and 2 couches. Two rooms on this level have King beds, a private bathroom, and one room walks out to the large covered deck. Another room includes a King bed with Full size bunks & Twin pullout and Jack and Jill bathroom. The other room has a Queen and Twin bunks.
The lower level features a large rec room with a Ping Pong Table, Shuffle Board and Foosball, a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, and ice maker. There is also a TV room for viewing, gaming, with 2 couches, as well as a half bath. There are 3 bedrooms on this level, 1 being a bunk room that includes a Queen bed plus a set of Full size bunk beds with a Twin pullout and a private bathroom. Another room includes King bed with a private bathroom. The other room includes a Queen bed with Twin bunks and a private bathroom. The covered deck on this level features a lighted hot tub and additional seating.
This is a NON SMOKING home. Minimum age 27 years to rent.
Waker's Paradise is situated in Lakeside Estates on 188 acres of scenic mountain land, and surrounded by a private cove on Norris Lake. Lakeside Estates features a gated entrance, walking trails, private boat ramp, boat trailer parking, city water, minutes from several full service marinas and restaurants, and a short ride or drive to a golf course.
This part of the lake is considered seasonal water and prior to April and after Labor Day, our cove can look more like a river than a lake, there is no guarantee that you'll have access to the dock but the boat launch is available year round.

If you are looking for a place to gather with family and friends, this is a great choice. We stayed in November to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday, so the lake was not a huge draw. The water level was down by the house this time of year and not useable (we knew this and didn’t plan to have a boat). We chose this place as the location was central for us and it was large to accommodate our group of 20. Plenty of beds, kitchen was large with two of everything, and two large tables for dining. The golden T golf game was fun, as was the ping pong and hot tub. This neighborhood is full of rentals, so if you are coming with a group and need more than one house, you could easily find another close by. We walked the neighborhood in the morning, it has a few very steep hills, so you will get a workout for sure! Driveway accommodated our six vehicles. Overall, we enjoyed this place for a weekend with family. We said it would be fun to come in the summer and bring a boat!

Plenty of activities for anything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. House was great and being right on the water was beautiful.

Enjoyed our stay, some issues with wasp on second floor and a few safety issues with railings. Would not recommend this home if you have small children as there are many steps....living room is small, not as large as pictures show. We had 14 adults and 7 kids from 1yr to 13yrs. Not as clean as some VRBO'S we have stayed in....mold and mildew in showers...windows very dirty and the lake was lowered before we got there...
