About this house rental
This spectacular home provides an extremely rare, super gentle slope to the Norris Lake shoreline. This slope is so gentle, the home has its own boat ramp.
Located on a protected area of Norris Lake shoreline behind Waterside Marina, your swimmers will not have any boat traffic. The drive to the home from Interstate 75 is also an easy 10 minutes without the typical winding roads. Your private dock has 2 covered slips measuring 10' x 27' and 8' x 24'. A 3rd boat can be parked on the outside edge (uncovered). If you need watercraft rentals, contact the nearby marinas: Waterside and Stardust. Due to liability reasons, we cannot provide flotation devices.

Beautiful property located on a calmer part of the lake. Or stay was seamless and the house accommodated our large family with no issues.

Our second time staying here because we love the house and the location. So easy to get to from 75. Close to a marina. Driveway has lots of easy parking. No steep drives or steps to the lake.

Overall this house was the perfect fit for our family. The lake access was manageable for our older parents. It was nice having our own boat dock. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook each night. The only thing we would have liked was to have additional blankets. Some of the bedrooms were cold at night, I would suggest bringing additional comforters/blankets.

1. Many rooms had zero light bulbs working.
2. Drains in sinks were so slow that you would to shut off water.
3. Heat and air malfunctioning entire trip. I had to reset breakers multiple times. So heat would turn off.
4. We had to go to Walmart to get batteries for TV remotes. Then had to Google how to program TV remotes to TV because remotes were not pre-programmed.
All these are small issues but changing light bulbs in master bathroom, pantry, side porch and down stairs closet. Dealing with clogged sinks. Getting up in middle of night to flip breakers for heat. Going to store to get batteries for TV remotes . Are things that should already be handled for price charged.
