The weekend away at Valley Lakes Lodge was Amazing!
The venue itself was absolutely Wow!
Every room had exactly what was needed to make it cosy and comfortable.
Farouk was always available and willing to help with whatever was needed. His assistance over the weekend was greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately the Dishes in the cupboards were mostly oily, almost like they had all been washed previously in oily pan water, from mugs to glasses to bowls.
We started by rewashing everything in the cupboards.
I would suggest that more pots be added. Bigger pots. It was very difficult cooking for 10 people using such tiny pots.
The downstairs toilet, as you open the tap the water pours out the bottom of the basin.

lovely view a bit far away from most of local attactions
use of canoes ready provision of life jackets
kids loved the upstairs bedrooms
no shaded place to sit outside
Beds are so large it was difficult to get around them
bed covers were very heavy
