Loved the cottage. Great decor, facilities and comfortable bedding. Amazing view and really lovely to see the sheep in the morning, setting off for a day's grazing. It's a beautiful setting. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return next year. Ashley was helpful and quick to respond to any issues.
Nothing, not really. Just a couple of small issues: It was a really cold evening for our first night's stay. Obviously beyond the owners control, but it was still chilly in the cottage, even with the log burner and the blankets from the beds. There was a draft coming from the windows which could be solved by thicker drapes and a heavy door curtain. Though I imagine additional heating would also be needed in the winter. It would have been nice to have heaters in all the bedrooms, just to take the chill off the room. There are electric blankets, but I'm not a fan.
