This unit is located in a residential condominium building built in 1973 which is located on the beachfront boardwalk in Pacific Beach. One "L" shaped condominium building contains 4 floors with the total 55 residential units and has only 1 elevator. There is no central air condition in this building.

This 1 bedroom unit is located on the top floor, and the floor-to-ceiling window in the living/dining/kitchen area faces west directly to the Pacific Ocean. This Top Floor Oceanfront Unit has been remodeled in 2010 which included a fully updated kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances and the amenities you need to say.

The remodeled bathroom (in 2010) includes dual sinks, full size tub and shower.

This unit also includes all the modern electronic amenities you have come to expect in your perfect vacation home:

- 42" flat screen LED HDTV.
- Free Wi-Fi internet access.

Located in Ocean Point, this unit also includes access to:
- Heated Pool

The view cannot be beat. The access to the beach is so convenient. Kitchen was very well supplied with dishes and pots and pans and all utensils and cooking needs like hot pads, kitchen towels , etc. Parking was easy and protected. Also, added bonuses were beach towels, chairs, umbrella , bikes and some beach toys. We were so pleased with the cleanliness and so many extras supplied. There are homeless in the vicinity, but they did not bother anyone and a very common population in San Diego. Also, great beach side sidewalks and walking distance to restaurants and grocery store and pharmacy. Only things I can say that might be a negative to others, is the shower works well but is not user friendly and the decor is dated, BUT very comfortable. The sunset viewing is incredible !

Great property, and the folks who run it, Greg and Riko are sweet. I was out of my conference at noon the day of check in and they let me arrive at 1:30 instead of 3 pm.The only downside was that when I arrived, I was informed that one of the beach cruiser's had been stolen. When I tried to ride the other one, I found that both tires were flat. Although Riko offer to reimburse me for the expense of repairing the remaining cruiser, I didn't want to deal with it. We rented bikes nearby, which was about 100 out of pocket. If the bikes are a deal breaker, probably check before you commit.

This property is directly on the beach and very close to a bunch of local restaurants/attractions in Pacific Beach. The area is very walkable and close to a bus stop for farther trips. Greg and Riko were great hosts and gave us tips for our stay. Their place was very well kept and clean. We hope to stay here again in the future and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Greg and Riko's condo. Great location in Pacific Beach and fantastic ocean/sunset views. The condo was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed (primarily breakfast and cocktails). Cruiser bikes worked great. Beach chairs/towels and small cooler came in handy. No surprises - everything was as described in the listing. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking to a beach-side stay in San Diego.

Our overall stay was terrific. Easy communication with Greg & Rico. Unit was well equipped and very clean. We would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately, the elevator was broken for 3 and 1/2 days of our stay. The unit is on the 4th floor, so taking our bags upstairs was rough. Rico and Greg were very kind about it and helped us get our luggage to the unit. They did everything they could to expedite the repairs. But unfortunately it took even longer than they had originally been told. (My husband just had knee replacement surgery, so this did hinder our ability to go out and about as often as we would have liked). Once it was fixed, it was great for the remainder of our stay. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend the unit. Bedroom has plenty of storage space with closet, dresser and nightstands. Sadly, it only fits a queen bed, which we knew ahead of time. It would have been even more perfect if it could fit a king size bed, but it just doesn’t- oh well!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The ocean view is spectacular and the location is perfect for tourists and returning guests from the area. The property managers were terrific and were very detailed about just about anything you can think of including any quirks there are. I would love to stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

This is a lovely remodeled condo with a gorgeous view! You can’t beat the location and proximity to all of Pacific Beach. We stayed for a week and attended two concerts at Snap Dragon stadium. Highly recommend taking the train from the balboa station. Condo could use some new bed pillows and blankets. lamps are rusty from the salt air but everything thing works and the kitchen was awesome! We had a lovely stay!

Came out to spend a week with my family. The unit itself and furniture is as described in other reviews-very old. But since it was expected, I had no problems.The bathroom basin however didn't drain and one stopper didn't open. I notified Riko but didn't ask them to come repair it during our stay. All was well until our final day at 9A when Greg called demanding to know if we were leaving because he wanted his cleaners to come and grab all the laundry as we were still packing and having breakfast. I didn't see it as a big deal until he became increasingly agitated and demanding about his request. When I said that we would be leaving at check out time which is 10 AM, he started to scream at me on the phone. He screamed "I AM TELLING YOU TO HELP ME GODDAMIT!" and hung up. Wow, as he was on speaker, my son heard him cuss us out and neither of us felt very safe finishing out our stay. What a shame. instead of peacefully ending our stay with a beautiful background, we left feeling very unsafe and in shock. I should've known he was unstable when upon check in Greg told us on the phone to arrive when we did because he was waiting for us at the unit. When we arrived he wagged his finger at us saying that we were early. I was so confused at his behavior. It was like we entered the Twilight Zone. LOL. True, the stay was cheaper than other places and location is beach front but I will gladly pay more to feel safe. Having an unstable and weird host was NOT worth saving some money.

Great value for this location. My 3+ month stay was a joy, and everything just worked. Greg was super responsive whenever anything came up. Hoping to be back soon.

Great location on the boardwalk with an incredible view of the ocean and Crystal Pier along with surfers, kiteboarders and dolphins. The property is under construction and a little run down but felt overall it was a very good value. We were there for a week and the location is very convenient for excursions around San Diego.

This property is as advertised. Right on the beach with a great view from the 4th floor living room window. Within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, boardwalk vendors and grocery store. Great to have onsite parking (underground garage) as this area is very popular with limited public parking. The property managers were great at communicating with us and worked with us on adjusting our stay dates as there was building upgrade construction going on that would have affected use of the elevator. The apartment itself is older but in good shape. I'm 6'1" and wish they had a king vs queen bed but not that big a deal (may be for those taller than me). Access to cruiser bikes was nice to have and it was also nice to see a security guard walking the property throughout the day and evening. Would highly recommend.

This condo is right on Pacific Beach. One piece of info we didn't see in any review is that it is not air conditioned. The ocean breeze and cool temps sufficed until the last night. Overall, that was fine. The building is old, but this condo is very nice. Everything was provided, including beach chairs, towels, and many other things we didn't need. The condo was clean but the upholstered furniture is very worn. Overall, the location and view overshadowed any negatives.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property due to its location right by the beach! Underground parking was also extremely helpful since parking can be difficult in that area. One suggestion would be providing two sets of keys. It became a bit challenging when two adults were going separate ways and needed the key to get back in. Updated kitchen and bathroom was a plus!

My husband and I loved the convenience of this property in proximity to many beaches and attractions of San Diego! The condo is located directly on the beach and you have a gorgeous view of the ocean. The unit included small beach chairs which was appreciated since we flew into California and could not bring our own. The only complaint we had were the few homeless people that hung outside of the property. They never bothered us, but I would not leave expensive belongings inside your car. Overall great stay and would stay here again!

We have stayed in this building before, but never in this particular unit which faces the ocean. It has been remodeled and the owner has thought of everything possible you could need. It was totally delightful except the shower which didn’t adjust hot and cold properly. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes virtually having the Pacific Ocean right out your window.

The condo is as expected from the listing pictures, description and reviews.I enjoyed being so close to the beach and the large window view of all the beach activity. I stayed for a month and the kitchen was great for meals. Greg was a friendly host & communicated well. I didn't need a car & made good use of the beach cruiser bikes provided.

We have stayed at this location before and are always happy to be in the middle of where it's happening.Greg provided us with access information to condo and designated parking spot and the condo was spotless when we arrived. The view of the ocean (surfers, waves, sunrise and sunset) never gets old, and easy access to the beach and ocean and walkway along the shore is a bonus. Use of bikes and short ride (or walk) to Ralph's full service grocery completes the package!We love the location and facilities and hope to stay there again during our annual visit to San Diego!

I have stayed in this unit a total of three times and my recent stay in September saw me disappointed because the property owner is not addressing things that need to be taken care of. As mentioned in other reviews the chair is very warn. I also noted that Outlets didn't work on one wall the shower takes a genius to figure out how to make it work the shower door is stuck the beach umbrella didn't work could be chairs were so old and falling through and rested and the box fan in the unit has a broken blade. The property manager is aware of all these items having said all of that you can't go around a better location right on the beach activity and parking on the building. What I stay there again? I would have to wait and see if the renovations and repairs have been made. There are nicer units in the building I will say at this time because I stayed in some of those as well

We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very accommodating! We woke to the view of sunshine and waves crashing each morning, and walked or a short Uber ride everywhere, which is a huge plus! We do have a couple recommendations, however: Water temperature regulation was an issue. I suspect it had to do with the older building, but am not a plumber. I also believe we are not the first renters to mention this. It sometimes took 5-10 minutes + to get warm water to the shower. Also, some of the furniture and bedding is worn or dated. For little money (check Wayfair or Joss and Main online plus free delivery and no hassle with shopping or delivery) you could upgrade very economically and probably increase the rental price to offset. The remodeled kitchen and bath are lovely, but the furnishings take away from that a bit (personal opinions). Thank you very much, we hope to return again!!

My husband and I stayed in this condo 9/3-9/10/2011. Our son lives nearby and we visit every year usually staying in nearby hotels. This was a much better experience. Lots of space, everything you could possiibly need from pots and pans, dishes, silverware, towels, beach towels and chairs, kitchen appliances, bicycles and more. The condo is as shown in the pictures very modern, clean and well-maintained. Everything was in good repair. The area is very busy, but the condo was very quiet. The managers of the property were wonderful to work with and available to answer any questions. We would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it to family and friends. We've been to the area many times, so we didn't do a lot of sightseeing. We relaxed on the beach, walked on the boardwalk, and enjoyed time with our son. We took a trip to LaJolla to watch the seals. They are always entertaining. We went downtown to a Festival of Sail that was going on at the time and spent the rest of the time relaxing. There are many activities and attractions very close by or just a short drive away. Sea World. San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Kingdom, Balboa Park is a must, Coronado, and, of course, the downtown area. There are too many restaurants within walking distance to name, but there is something for everyone. Staying in this condo is a fabulous opportunity, don't miss it!!

The condo is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and perfectly located. Greg met us on upon our arrival, and he and his wife seemed to have though of everything we could have possibly wanted during our stay - bikes, beach chairs, towels, etc. My 5yr old son loved watching all the surfers out the big windows every morning. The condo couldn't be better located - just steps down to the beach and boardwalk, a very short walk to many restaurants, and still a pretty quick drive to downtown San Diego, Sea World, and the zoo/museums. Another bonus is a garage parking spot, as parking appears to be at a premium near the beach. We also liked that it is a 4th floor unit (complex has an elevator) so some of the boardwalk noise is filtered out. I highly recommend this condo - next time I go to San Diego, I will definitely try to stay here again.

Just spent a week at this beautiful condo! They have thought of everything! A real perk is that 2 bicycles are included and they are so fun to ride on the boardwalk which is right outside the front of the condo. The room is immaculate and very modernly decorated-making you feel like you are in an exclusive hotel. We searched high and low for a condo that had parking included as it can be a hassle to find parking on the street, and this place provides designated spots! It was always so nice to know that you could come in late and not have to search extensively for a spot! The top floor is great to overlook the surfers and you're close to everything you need! We would definitely recommend!!

January 2010 was the first time we did a winter getaway, leaving foggy cold weather and going to sunny warm weather. We stayed in Ocean Beach that year. This January we stayed two week at this wonderful condo in Pacific Beach. It is at a perfect location, and the place is so nice. The view of the ocean from the living room window is fantastic. The beachwalk is right in front of the building giving you easy access to the beach and you can walk/jog/bicycle all the way to Mission Bay and beyond. And it's a cook's kitchen!
