About this house rental
Relaxing, quiet and spacious, centrally located in safe neighborhood of Encinitas just 2 miles from Moonlight beach, freeway, shops/restaurants and nearby attractions.
Non-smoking, lovely 2400 sq/ft home featuring 4 beds/2.5 bathrooms, beachy bohemian theme. Enjoy coastal breezes and A/C, ceiling fans and 2 fireplaces inside and 2 firepits outside. 3 guest parking spots : 2 driveway/ 1 garage.
Cosy living room with sectional sofa, vaulted ceiling, gas fire and comfortable seating with patio doors leading to the garden which is perfect for outdoor entertaining : six person hot-tub, relaxing hammock made for two, a kids playhouse, an extensive sunning deck with ample loungers and sofa seating with gas fire pit. Also 4 swivel chairs with fire pit and an 8 seater dining table with umbrella and also a BBQ grill for cooking enthusiasts.
Primary suite is downstairs (which makes this wheelchair accessible) with a King Bed, flatscreen TV, ceiling fan and a window seat. There is a double vanity sink, walk-in spa shower and mirrored closet.
Kitchen is open plan with breakfast bar that seats 3, white quartz countertops, butcher-block island for prepping, zinc top dining table with bench and 5 chairs. All SS appliances, 5 ring gas stove, walk-in pantry with microwave, toaster and electric kettle, Keurig and coffeemaker. TV room with sofa and 2 individual chairs for you to enjoy Netflix or OnDemand TV (sorry, no cable) with electric fireplace. Also high speed Wi-Fi.
We have a 2 car garage with washer/dryer and many extras for you to enjoy while on vacation, including boogie boards, surfboard, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, umbrella, cooler, wagon and bikes with helmets for all ages.
Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms - 2 have Queen beds, and one bedroom has 1 single bed plus 2 twin bunkbeds to accommodate 3 kids.
Each room has a TV, ceiling fan, and plenty of closet space.
The upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combo.
House has a lot of amenities for the kiddos including outdoor playhouse, plenty of books, cuddly toys, coloring kits, jigsaws and board games etc.
And for babies we provide baby gates, 2 x pack n play with mattress and crib sheets, 2 highchairs, umbrella stroller, car seat and 2 booster seats, 2 baby baths, blankets & diapers.
We are walking distance (or 2 minutes by car) to Trader Joes, Ralph's, CVS, Habit Burger and many other shops and restaurants.
2 miles west straight down Encinitas Blvd. is one of the prettiest beaches of San Diego - Moonlight Beach which has an adjacent park, volley ball, board rental, refreshments, bathrooms and lifeguards!
Take a stroll around downtown Encinitas and soak up the beach atmosphere in one of the many street cafes and restaurants offering sushi, Italian, Pizza, seafood - you name it, they got it!
10 miles north in Carlsbad is Legoland, 20 miles east in Escondido is Wild Animal Park, 20 miles south is SeaWorld and 25 miles south is San Diego Zoo and airport.

This house is amazing. Well stocked with kitchen essentials. Beds are comfy. Plenty of room inside and the backyard is spacious. Helen is a wonderful host. She communicated quickly when I had a question. She let us check in early and check out a little late. The house is perfect for families or couples traveling together.

This is our third stay with Helen, she always goes above & beyond the usual rental to make your stay a wonderful one. The house is over equipped with absolutely everything you, your family and fur babies need and more.The fuzzy blanket excess in every corner basket for a cozy relaxing stay on the couch or outside on one of the many patio areas is just the type of spoiling one is looking for. Close to moonlight beach, and other beaches to choose from, restaurants, freeways, and local stores.It was great to be able to park our car in the garage also.Plenty of beach toys, a wagon, bikes for the neighborhood.We would recommend this property for a family or a couple of couples looking to get away and want to have some space and backyard/hot tub to relax in.
