The Basics: Oceanfront; excellent 180 degree ocean/beach views from dining/living rooms and front porch; location in the sparsely populated 'east end' of Holden Beach; sleeps eight comfortably; classic tongue-and-groove wood paneling; modern conveniences including Central A/C & heat; Wi-Fi; cable TV with DVD; one full and one half bath inside plus enclosed, outside double shower with hot water; master bedroom has lavatory and mirror. Seven can sleep in three bedrooms and one in the sequestered cot at the end of the hall.

The location was perfect. The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed our family meals around the large kitchen table. In-between beach time, we lounged on the patio furniture enjoying the ocean breeze.The rocking chairs on the front porch were a favorite place to sit watching the ocean and sunsets.The outside shower is great.

We love Crowd Inn! We have vacationed at Holden Beach for 40 years and must say that this older home was one of the best we’ve stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the living room had plenty of comfortable seating and dining room table was perfect for family meals, game playing and puzzle building. A fun surprise was the closet full of games and puzzles which our grandchildren enjoyed and in the utility room downstairs were plenty of beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards. On the porch are seven comfy rocking chairs and a porch swing where we had our morning coffee and watched for dolphins. Comparing staying at the west and east ends of the island, I have to say I so enjoyed the peace and quiet of the east end. Warren was very attentive to us and even checked in on an evening we had a tornado warning. We most definitely would stay here again and are dreaming of next year.
