About this cabin rental
Inside, the open-concept main level flows from a fully equipped kitchen to an inviting living room with a gas log fireplace and TV (streaming) and dining space for four. Head upstairs to a cozy loft with a telescope for evening stargazing, or downstairs to a den with a gas stove, a game room with foosball, and access to a screened-in porch perfect for rainy mountain evenings.
House Layout: The main floor has a King bed and en-suite bath, another bedroom with a Queen bed, and a full hall bath accessible from the hallway. The upstairs and downstairs both have Queen bedrooms. Spread across three levels, the bedrooms give every group room to spread out — ideal for families, friend groups, or two couples sharing a getaway. A powder room is available on both the upper level and lower level, and the home offers a washer/dryer, which rounds out the practicalities.
Out the Door: Old Fort's Hillman Brewing, Catawba Falls Trail, and Foothills Watershed (Family Riverside Hangout & Bike Park) are within a 24-minute drive. Black Mountain's walkable downtown — breweries, coffee shops, and galleries — is also about 25 minutes away. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are roughly 30 minutes in the other direction. Asheville and the Biltmore Estate are about 35 minutes west.
Please note: Dogs are welcome (up to two, $100/dog non-refundable fee). The driveway is steep and not suitable for trailers or campers. 4WD or AWD recommended December–March. In the colder winter months, roads in the development can become icy or snowy, and snowplows may take some time to arrive.
