About this house rental
From the moment you pull into the circular driveway, the house feels welcoming. Guests unload directly onto the main level with no stairs, and the interior opens into a spacious, light-filled great room where the kitchen, dining room, and living room connect naturally. The layout works just as well for a family weekend as it does for multiple couples traveling together. The kitchen is a standout. The oversized island seats four and becomes the center of everything—whether you're cooking dinner, celebrating over a bottle of wine, or having a great conversation while someone settles in by the wood-burning fireplace. French doors lead onto one of two wraparound decks, making the line between indoor and outdoor living feel effortless. Dinner works equally well at the dining table, which seats eight, or outside on the deck surrounded by trees. No matter how the evening unfolds, both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig are waiting for the morning after.
The primary suite has its own fireplace and a generous en-suite bathroom with a jetted soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. It's the kind of bathroom that makes a morning feel unhurried and luxurious. A second main-floor bedroom with a queen bed has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, accessible from both the hallway and the room, making it easy for guests to share the level comfortably. Downstairs, the house opens into a completely different kind of gathering space: a king bedroom with an en suite jetted tub, a bunk room with two twin-over-full bunks, a bar area with darts and a streaming TV, and a lounge. The home theater is one of those unexpected details guests remember most—ideal for movie nights, rainy afternoons, or watching a nail-biting big game with the whole group.
Part of what makes Red Wolf special is that there's genuinely enough to do on the property that you may never want to leave. Challenge the group to ping pong in the garage, roast s'mores at the fire pit under the stars, or soak in the private hot tub on the lower deck after a full day out. The property itself invites you outside. A creek runs through the land below, and the community offers private walking trails with access into Pisgah National Forest. The crowd-favorite Catawba Falls is also nearby. The house is dog-friendly, so your pup can come along for all of your adventures!
Some places just feel right from the moment you arrive. Red Wolf Lodge is one of them—comfortable, private, and designed for easy mountain living.
