About this house rental
Come enjoy this centrally located bungalow in Boise's Sunset neighborhood in the historic north-end.
* Walking distance to foothills - hundreds of miles of hiking/biking, part of Ridge to Rivers trail system.

3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchen with a table and 5 chairs (extra table and chairs in storage as well). Living room with sectional and entertainment center with TV. Large fenced backyard with charcoal grill.

Guests will have access to the entire house and yard with carport parking.

The neighborhood
There are many amenities close to the house. The world class White Water park is one mile from the house and an easy walk. If you bring bikes, there are miles of mountain bike trails that start within a mile from the house. Quaint restaurants and bars are 2 miles away, as well as the popular Hyde Park area. During ski season, the house sits 16 miles from Bogus Basin Ski resort. The heart of downtown is only 3 miles and an easy bike ride or a $10 uber or cab fare.
Getting around
Biking is a perfect way to get around Boise any time of year. Bikes 2 Boards is a great local bike rental shop only .6 miles from the house. Downtown Boise offers Green Bike rental hubs as well. This property is an older house located in an older, established section of Boise. We found it to be very quiet with a minimum of road noise. Access into the house is done through an electronic lock mechanism which worked very well. I'd suggest, though, that the owner include a small explanation about the need to press the little house symbol in the lower right once the code is entered. Just a minor thing that is pretty obvious anyway. The house was extremely clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The furnishings were comfortable for us, including the living room and bedrooms. The internet/wifi was uncommonly fast and the TV selections were pretty awesome! Communications with the property manager were really good. There is a selection of area maps available in the house, which we found helpful. One minor thing for me was the soap and shampoo provided for the bath/shower. I didn't locate any shampoo as such - just conditioner - and the bath soap was in the form of a liquid body wash that was pretty ineffective. Other than that minor thing, both bathrooms were very well stocked with towels and washcloths. All of the appliances in the house worked very well, including the washer and dryer as well as the furnace.
Compared with other VRBO rentals that we've had, it rates high on my list because everything worked well, the property manager was very responsive, the internet was awesome, and the location was good for our purposes of visiting family. Thank you for a great experience!

House was comfortable. It had most of what we needed. Could have used some steak knives in the kitchen for when we barbecued, and we bought self light charcoal ..grate wasn't cleaned. Therefore couldn't give a 5 star for all categories. House needs a little love, 2 of us got locked in the first bathroom, knob was locked when you close the door. Plenty of fresh towels and nice to have bread, a bottle of wine and coffee available for you. :)

Hardly any furniture in the living room and what was there I could pick up at consignment for $200. Had to bring outdoor furniture in to the living room for my family. No dishwasher soap. Very difficult door to lock. Too embarrassed to invite friends over. Overpriced. Live and learn.
