About this chalet rental

This incredible 4 bedroom and 4 1/2 bathroom ski home. The home is in the ultra exclusive Shock Hill neighborhood with it's own Gondola stop. It is 75 steps from the heated garage to the Shock Hill Mid station gondola. You can take the gondola up to the base of Peak 7 or Peak 8 or down to town for restaurants and shopping. The Breckenridge Nordic trails are out your backdoor!

We built this home with two master bedrooms. The master bedrooms have king size beds with double vanities and walk in closets. In addition there is bedroom with a queen size bed with it's own private bathroom. The last bedroom has 2 sets of custom built-in bunks and a bathroom. In addition, there is another set custom built-in bunks hidden behind a barn door.

The home was professionally decorated! The home has hot tub and gas fire pit area on the ground level.

About this chalet rental

Going to Breck? Stay here. Period. It was truly ski in/out with such a short walk to the gondola and a short ride on it to the mountain. So easy. The house was comfortable and a great layout for our 3 adults and 3 kids. Heated garage was a bonus. It was also nice to have food staples already at the house. It made cooking so easy. We had groceries delivered on our way from the airport. The association took good care of us as well, even cleaning off the deck of snow (and it snowed a bunch when we were just there). Hot tub was great and it was nice to have a fire pit, but we did not use it. Easy drive to town where we liked to walk around and grab food. Homestead was great! One of the best places we have stayed. Thank you!!If we go back, I will stay here again.

We had the best time at this beautiful home in Breckinridge! Close to everything. Gondola was so fun to ride back and forth to town, as well as up mountain to all the fun activities. I usually don’t care to cook on vacation, but this house was so well stocked and upscale (Wolf appliances), we ended up cooking a lot and just going to town for drinks. Spent an afternoon on the deck reading a good book. Hot tub and fire pit were awesome too. Super quiet area with trails all around. Host was wonderful as well!

This house is fabulous!! The location is right by the gondola so getting to Peak 8 or into town was super easy. Our kids loved waking up and being able to take a scenic walk near by. Wonderful stay! We had 4 families staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location was steps away from the gondola so it was an easy walk each day (even in ski boots!). We were pleasantly surprised by how stocked everything was (there were plenty of paper goods, toiletries, towels, kitchen staples etc). Gorgeous finishes, convenient location, thoughtful details. Just our family of 5, but would be wonderful for more. Fully stocked kitchenware, including Miele coffee maker and Wolf range. High quality bedding linens with fans in each room. Great shower pressure, heated garage, honestly zero complaints. Just yards from gondola so everyone could move independently and local friends easily meet up. We all Love watching the gondola go by! Big windows with great views felt like being in a snowglobe. We had a great time! The teenagers had to help with the technology a good bit because the house has lots of bells and whistles. The location was excellent and an easy walk to the Breck connect. The only suggestion I would make is another large soup pot and possibly a deep skillet (chicken fryer). We ate in every night other than going to Ale House one night (which was a great experience!). I wish we had checked the supplies before we went grocery shopping because the house was well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and trash bags. We were very pleased with the whole experience and would love to come back!

At risk of sounding like a broken record (like other reviews), the owner Dean was wonderful to communicate with. He texted immediate answers and helpful suggestions. We had another family and kids' friends with us. The kitchen was fully equipped, the gondola was SO convenient, the hot tub was popular, and the dining room table was the spot for many, many games. The outside dining table was so wonderful and comfortable for reading and working. Thank you for a wonderful home!

January ski trip

January ski trip

Our family of 5 and our friends (family of 6) came to Breckenridge from Georgia for 5 days of skiing in early January. This property was exactly as advertised. Before we arrived, Dean, the owner, texted to make sure any questions were addressed. He continued to make himself easily available by phone or text for any questions, and it is clearly evident after speaking to him that the comfort and satisfaction of his guests is a top priority. The house is as nice in person as the photos suggest, and the views are beautiful looking up peak 8. The kitchen is superbly appointed and lends itself well to preparing meals for a large group. There is a Wolf range/ oven and a large Sub-Zero refrigerator. My wife enjoyed the Miele fresh coffee maker. A huge Kitchen Aid gas grill cooked some delicious steaks. At night, the teenagers in our group sat around the large dining table laughing and playing trivia games which were provided, and we all enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. The gondola is a very short ride to peak 7 and 8 bases, and Breckenridge town center is no more than a half mile drive down the hill. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive away. Additionally, the house was very clean, towels were plentiful, and the washer and dryer were so convenient. I could go on. Suffice it to say, this was a wonderful home, and we are grateful to Dean for a delightful stay! We highly recommend this propery.

First the property is as represented - very nice. Second, Dean is the most responsive owner with whom I’ve ever dealt. But what made this rental stand out was a controversy. Somehow a couple of issues came up over damage to furniture when the unit was inspected after our trip. Dean does not personally inspect the unit (done by Mgt group). I KNEW we had not caused this damage - Dean took my word and returned our damage deposit. The money did not mean that much to me, the trust did. All said, I would encourage future renters to do a good inspect at the outset and let Dean know of any issues. It was not on our radar. But my main point is this is a very caring and honest owner for a great property.
