About this house rental
This property is absolutely unique - with close to 260 acres of woods which include both a Private 15 Acre Lake and Eau Claire River frontage for you to enjoy. It has something to offer everyone during all seasons in Northern Wisconsin. Grab some snowshoes, a pair of cross-country skis, or take a stroll on the wooded trails encircling this lake or leading to the Eau Claire River. Enjoy a peaceful kayak ride on the lake, go for a swim or lounge on the dock with zero interruptions from the outside world. Drive just a few miles up the road and enjoy a three hour float or kayak adventure on the Eau Claire River with a convenient exit off the river right on the property. You can access 4-wheeler and snowmobile trails within 1/4 mile from the property.
This 3 bedroom, 2 bath 2,000 sq ft home is located right on the lake with your own private beach, dock and raft including the use of a couple of kayaks, a canoe and rowboat. Gather on the outdoor patio for some grilling and a campfire and watch the sunset reflect off the water and surrounding pines.
Head inside for some socializing after the sun goes down in the spacious, open area kitchen, dining room and living room. There's a place for everyone! This modern kitchen has brand new appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need. A dining room table that seats 10 and center island with stools provide adequate seating for everyone. Hang out in the lower level living room to watch T.V. or enjoy a view of the lake from the windows of a three season porch. Beat out the cold and cozy up in front of either of the two gas stoves on chilly nights or during the fall and winter months. Enjoy air conditioning as well on those hot summer days.
You'll have the best view in the house in the master bedroom that overlooks the lake through double sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious enclosed deck; the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and watch the sunrise.
The house sleeps eight people with three bedrooms; two featuring queen beds and one with full size bottom and single top bunk bed and a single bed, but with a daybed and couch that has a full pull-out sleeper, it can accommodate at least eleven. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs with a shower and one downstairs with a tub/shower including a washer and dryer for your convenience.
You are right in the middle of all the major recreational towns that provide day excursions, shopping or festivals, with Hayward, Bayfield and Superior/Duluth all within an hour drive.

Property was great! Lots of room both in the house and land. So many places to sit and enjoy the lake and I was shocked the mosquitos weren't very bad!!. Sunsets we're beautiful fishing wasn't great but turtle hunting was! We really enjoyed that we could walk down to the river and the kids could wade and fish there as well. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boats and bonfire. Owners were very friendly, easy to communicate with and got back to us quickly with any questions we had. I will say the bottom of the lake is a muck bottom even though the beach is sand (even jumping off the floating dock my husband sunk a bit). All in all had a great stay!
