Northern Traditions - Deer Hollow and Loon Lodge; both cabins are listed on this website and are located adjacent to each other on the beautiful, 3300-acre Long Lake in Washburn County, the 'Walleye Capital of Wisconsin.' These well-appointed cabins provide a home away from home retreat without compromising any comforts.
Deer Hollow has five bedrooms and three and a half baths; Loon Lodge has five bedrooms and three and a half baths. Each cabin has two full kitchens one up and one down. Cabins can be rented individually or together for the Wisconsin family vacation of a lifetime.
If your traditional Wisconsin vacation has been threatened due to resorts going condo or sold to private owners, Northern Traditions is your answer.
Private five-acre lot, log-cabin construction, large decks, spacious screened in porches, deep water docks, excellent fishing and water sports... these cabins were constructed with both the fishermen and the family in mind.
There is a paddle boat, canoe, kayak and a Lund boat with a 15HP motor on the property to be shared by our guests.

We found our entire stay to be excellent. The house and property are beautiful! Everything was immaculate upon our arrival. It was nice that everyone was able to have their own room. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook. The property manager, Laurie, made us feel welcome upon arrival and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. There was inclement weather that kept us from getting out of the driveway and Laurie made sure we were able to get what we needed from the store for our holiday fun. She always responded right away when we reached out with a question. Thank you for a memorable Thanksgiving stay!

This was our second year in a row staying at this cabin, and it somehow gets better every time. One of our favorite things about this home is how incredibly well-stocked the kitchen(s) are. With Pampered Chef no less. We curate a full weekend menu before we come, and we never have to leave. Everything we need to cook, bake, and enjoy every meal is already here. It makes the whole experience feel effortless and cozy.There’s also plenty of space for activities, which we love. We always bring crafts and projects, and there’s more than enough room for everyone to spread out, relax, and truly enjoy the home. The views are absolutely stunning, and the accommodations are perfect for our group.We’ve made this an annual tradition and fully plan to come back year after year. And of course, a special shoutout to Laurie, who is always such a pleasure to meet with when she checks us in. She makes the stay feel even more welcoming.Highly recommend this beautiful getaway!
