Location, Style and Value - The north end is arguably the best Location on the ranch for visitors! It's closest to the town of Gualala with it's shops, markets and eating/drinking establishments. Originally built for an empty nest couple, The Bluffs at Sea Ranch is perhaps the perfect place for a loving couple to reignite their passion. The professionally designed interior is fresh, light-filled and private featuring our signature look with antiques and contemporary furnishings in a modern playful mix. You will appreciate the high quality bedding, pillows and comforters, an updated kitchen with commercial stainless steel appliances, Master Chef cookware, Wusthof knives and all the goodies. Separate laundry, viewing deck, covered patio, private fenced yard, and inviting Jacuzzi spa with views of the Pacific round out the ample amenities.

The two-level master suite encompasses the majority of the second floor. Lounge with your favorite book on the 9-foot window seat and enjoy seasonal whitewater ocean views and glorious sunsets. Then step down to the spacious bath area for a sumptuous soak with the sounds of the crashing waves to help sooth away your worries. The massive California king size bed invites restful slumber with a super high-end Aireloom 'Super Feather Bed' mattress. The second bedroom is located on the ground floor and has access to its own private garden and patio. It's cozy and comfortable and great for extra guests. In addition, on the second floor, is a lofted niche with a full size bed that looks out upon the Sea Ranch Golf Links and acres of natural land on one side and the ocean on the other. The perfect place to escape from someone who snores!

With panoramic ocean views from nearly every window, and acres of wilderness to the east the property is adjacent to Gualala Point Regional Park and the town of Gualala the convenience and walk-ability are unsurpassed. The bluff trail along the ocean side of the property serves as your gateway to the great blue Pacific.

Designed and sited to take advantage passive heating and cooling from Mother Nature, you'll enjoy soothing benefits of radiant floor heating with no drying forced air to stuff up your sinuses.

Again, pets are not allowed - please don't ask. If unauthorized pets are brought onto the property, a minimum fee of $500 will be charged for extra cleaning.

We've been staying at vacation rentals in Sea Ranch for over 30 years. This absolutely is one of the best. It is really clean (surprisingly, somewhat unusal in Sea Ranch rentals). Everything worked (hot tub, appliances, etc, also somewhat unusual). We like to cook, and this is really a chef's kitchen. The views across the meadow to the ocean are great. John, the owner, was immediately available by email for our few questions. We appreciated that he cares for and maintains this as his home and not just a vacation rental.

My husband & I had an incredible stay . We arrived the evening after our wedding.We could hear the ocean from laying in bed . The ocean view was a beautiful sight every day. The hot tub was prepared for us before our arrival. We absolutely loved every aspect of Sea Ranch Every day we awoke to God’s natural beauty every where we looked . This is such a beautiful house. We all slept soundly and comfortably in the cozy beds. The kitchen is top-notch. We cooked almost all our meals on the excellent stove. Loved kicking back in the chairs out back, spending memorable hours watching the whales, and oohing and aaahing over the vivid sunsets and the starry skies. A great place to visit, and hard to leave.

Our stay at the Bluffs was fantastic. The house is ideal, and well stocked with everything you would need. It is a perfect location for wildlife viewing! Foxy visited several times and on the last day we spotted a whale breaching. There is excellent access to the trails and the Sonoma County park to the north. We had dinner one night at the Sea Ranch lodge restaurant and the food was excellent. We drove up on Friday and stopped at the Stewart Point Store for a warm up pizza. The pizza is only available on Friday, but was perfect for our dinner.

We had a fantastic Sea Ranch vacation and loved this home. A great kitchen, a million dollar view of the ocean, and interesting antiques. We hiked every day: the Bluff Trail to the Gualala regional park, the Salal trail down to the Bluff Trail, the Sag Pond and Monarch glen trail (parked at One-Eyed Jacks for the Monarch trail. Also visited the Gualala arts center in the redwoods. We would love to stay here again on a future trip.

We just got back from a trip to Sea Ranch. This was our third time staying up there, and our favorite rental! The home is stunning with views of the ocean from almost every angle. I have rented many vacation homes over the years, and this had the best kitchen ever! Clean, organized, and well stocked with all of the equipment you need! I even baked a birthday cake. We had such a peaceful and wonderful time at this beautiful home. The views are spectacular and you can hear the sea from the deck. The hot tub was nice and hot and also has a view of the sea with the gate open. The home is decorated with class and style. The walking path along the coast is easily accessible and we went for beautiful walks every day. I highly recommend this home!

We loved our stay at this home in Sea Ranch. It was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, stylish and well-furnished with everything we needed. The location was perfect, tucked away near the northern end of the Bluff Trail, offering both privacy and the stunning coastal scenery. We've stayed at Sea Ranch on and off for 20 years, and when you put it all together, this property tops all the others.It's beautifully designed, fully equipped, and has furnishings more akin to a high-end resort than a beach rental. The attention to detail is impeccable.You have an unobstructed view of the ocean from multiple windows and seating areas throughout the home. You're steps from the Bluff Trail.You're about as close to Gualala as you can get, for quick grocery trips and dining options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, having passed through Sea Ranch on a previous trip to the area and wanting to return back. The aesthetics and vibe of the community are very much our style, and we loved seeing all kinds of wildlife from the back porch and from the huge windows upstairs. We picked up groceries early on from one of the nearby grocery stores and found the kitchen to be adequately equipped for cooking meals there, which we did. I would recommend being judicious about timing and length of showers so as to not encounter any scarcity of hot water. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the window bench in the master. It’s a good place to set up home base if you have some work to do, which I did, and had no issues with internet speed on my laptop. The hot tub was nice and hot, and overall I really enjoyed the privacy of the spaces inside and around the house (it’s nice having ample window treatments to be able to leave the blinds up during the day for wildlife spotting but have the option of closing up in the evening once it’s dark outside and the interior is lit). We would certainly return.

This place is a Sea Ranch gem! Absolutely perfect unobstructed views of the ocean from nearly every room, including the upstairs office where I could work and watch wildlife. Immediate access to trails. Best location to town as well with easy access to Trink’s and their delicious baked goods. Raspberry cream cheese scones are incredible. The home had a spacious and completely private outdoor area with a large hot tub that we used often. The bathrooms and kitchens were very well stocked and we especially appreciated all of the different coffee making options. I really enjoyed the Mokka pot. We will definitely make returns to Sea Ranch and hope to stay here again.

The only drawback was the sitting room, small but comfortable. The host was very responsive if I had a question, super fast. Wish there was a binder with informations about the house and area. We were delighted with this home and its location. The views of the ocean are exceptional. The garden was in full bloom when we arrived. The entire property is carefully maintained, and the kitchen is well-stocked with various cooking supplies. The hot tub was beautiful, as well. This is my third stay at this property - and there are good reasons why I keep coming back! When you go out the sliding glass doors in the back there is nothing between you and the bluffs over the ocean, just a walk of a minute or two across a field and you're there. Up the coast maybe half a mile there's a beach. The house is very clean, with a large main bedroom that also has a long, very cozy cushioned window seat, so you can lay there and read while the sun sets over the ocean. The hot tub is large and well maintained. There is a propane grill in the patio. There are 3 TVs (up from 2 in previous visits) and you can get live broadcasts as well as numerous cable channels. I plug my Roku box into an HDMI input so I can get all my subscribed channels. So this place really has it all ... well, almost has it all. One thing it lacks is a nice dining area. There is just a small round table, more like a breakfast nook really. There used to be a nice cafe-height table in the kitchen area but that is no longer there. So if you want to have a nice dinner party this might be a disappointment, but the table does look out on the fields and ocean, so it's not all bad. Highly recommended!

We spent a very enjoyable week here. This was our first time to visit Sea Ranch. Property was very clean on check-in. Plenty of linens were available. Beds were very comfortable. Ocean views from every room in the house were wonderful. Even in the mirror of the master bathroom! The kitchen was well equipped. No need to bring any dishes, pans, knives, etc., from home. Large capacity washer and dryer was nice to have. Property included a very comfortable, well landscaped, enclosed patio. Location is excellent. Stores in Gualala are minutes away. Access to major trails is only yards from the patio door. We were able to step outside to the Bluffs Trail and watch the sunset every evening. In summary, we had a very comfortable and relaxing week at The Bluffs.
