About this house rental

4D Guest Ranch is located on 260 acres of rolling, wooded hills with adventure around every corner. It has 300 wild animals for our guest to view and photograph! Gemsbok, elk, several deer species, antelope, Llamas, sheep, goats, horses, and more. There are 2 stocked ponds that have catfish. The barndo is an amazingly unique rustic but elegant place to stay. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master offers a king size bed . 1 room has 2 sets of bunks, one a twin size and one a full size. The other 2 rooms have queen size beds. The 5th bedroom has 2 twin set of bunks. It is an actual barn that has been modified to be a house. The original metal bar doors remain on the left side for their beauty . The bedrooms on the right side have sliding wooden doors for privacy. There is a full kitchen, a great room with a dining area, a living area and game room equipped with a pool table. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating and a 110' projection screen tv. There is also a Harmon Kardon Amp for blue tooth music. It is decorated beautifully with functionality and comfort in mind. The patio area has plenty of seating and 3 flat screens to enjoy while you bar b que on the large wood/charcoal smoker pit and enjoy the gorgeous countryside with your friends and family. Private swimming pool to cool off and relax in. This isn't any ordinary vacation/retreat! When you stay at the ranch you have access to all of the natural beauty and wildlife with a wood burning fire pit under the stars. The barndo now has a laundry room.

Visited for our large family trip. Kids loved swimming in the pool! Everyone enjoyed fishing, exploring the property, playing pool and foosball and making s’mores at the fire pit. Great place with plenty of room for our whole crew. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We love staying here. So fun taking out the ATVs and spotting new animals each time we were out. I also appreciated with young grandchildren that the area to the pool has another gate so there wasn't easy access to the pool for them. They loved telling the cows good night as they walked right past the barndo each afternoon.

We were very hopeful about this property. We read a few reviews and were excited about our stay here. Unfortunately, it was not all we were hoping. I'm going to list these out with brief explanations to help with easy reading for those looking to stay here. THE GOOD:Beautiful property & surrounding area. Beautiful animals on the property were fun to watch and have around.So many stars at night! The bedrooms were nicely decorated. The newer part of the house was nice, and the temp stayed low. THE NOT-SO-GOODA/C takes forever to cool down the big/open area. (77 was the lowest it was during the day.)One bathroom door doesn't close all the way. We had to buy a sign to help people know when we were in there.The BBQ pit grills were in really bad shape, and it had something spoiled with maggots in one of them at the bottom corner. We burned it out on our first day.Kitchen pots and pans need cleaning or replacement.The bedroom door in the new area doesn't lock.The drink fridge needs to be cleaned out from the past guests' items. THE BADThere were lots of scorpions. We had 3 of them outside, 2 by the pool, but we had to deal with 6 scorpions inside the house in random areas. The kids had trouble sleeping at night, thinking about them. I think this needs to be a big warning for people heading out there. We also found a pretty large spider in one of the bathrooms, but compared to the scorpions, we weren't too concerned about it.
