Casa Ira Rosa is situated in the mountains of Monteverde just a few minutes walk to the world famous Monteverde Reserve. This peaceful retreat, is nestled within the misty canopy and offers a distinct log cabin feel. The house can comfortably accommodate 5 people in two queen beds and one single bed, additionally it can host two more people in sofa beds. The house is confortable for families or bigger groups, it has a well equipped kitchen, two living rooms, and plenty of space to socialize.

This house was perfect for our stay in the Cloud Rainforest. We liked how close it was to the entrance for the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve for our night hike as well as breakfast at Colibri Cafe. We also enjoyed walking to the Trapp Family Hotel for a drink & meal one night. The seclusion & quietness was a perfect retreat! The natural light was wonderful throughout the home! It is a bit of a drive (10minutes) to town but other than that, we would absolutely return!

This house was perfect for our family of four and can accommodate more people. It is cozy, clean, and right in the forest for an unforgettable experience! There is a grocery store nearby and Don Luis restaurant next door to the grocery store had amazing pizza to go. We enjoyed having meals at the house. Very close to Monteverde, which we highly recommend visiting (national park).

The kitchen was equipped for cooking meals. The house was easy to find with instructions and it was not cold at night as other guests mentioned (in April). It was damp feeling but we saw there was a dehumidifier and we got that set up and it was much better. It was close to Santa Elena. We felt it was best with a rental car, which we had. It has quiet vibes at night which was nice for relaxing
