This property is sited on a large corner lot in the best upper rock ridge location with great views yet an easy walk to college ave. and bart. The home features an open floor plan with garden and / or filtered bay views from most windows. Many aspects of this old 1922 mediterranean duplex have ben upgraded, but it still retains much of it's vintage look and charm.

Scott's house was a comfortable spot for us to spend a couple days in the east bay with friends. Great location, the kids loved the basket ball hoop in the garden and the bunk beds. we look forward to visiting again!

Property is in a great location, safe, with views and short walk (downhill) to the BART stop and Trader Joes. But the bathroom wasn't cleaned when we arrived. At least there were lysol wipes available to do our own cleaning. The kitchen appliances, dishes, pans, etc were grimy, definitely hadn't been cleaned. The pans were limited and poor quality. The oven was tiny and dirty, really unusable. Outside the grill was clean and full propane, thankfully we had planned on lots of grilling. Overall a lack of cleanliness detracted from what was otherwise a nice home in a great location. We made the best of it.
