About this apartment rental

Cozy and remodeled 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs condo with all the amenities. Located in the eclectic town of Ocean Beach, this contemporary furnished condo has direct access to a beautiful shared ocean front patio where you can relax and watch the amazing San Diego sunsets. This building sits on a small bluff directly overlooking the tide pools, and ocean below. The patio also has a great view of the famous Ocean Beach pier, and surrounding coastline. The unit is located in the rear of the building with no ocean view, but only a 50 foot or so walk to the ocean front patio. Parking is behind our yellow building in the upper lot #3 spot. The unit also is fully equipped with air conditioning.

We loved our stay at the Cliffside Getaway. We were able to walk everywhere. Location was extremely safe and very picturesque. The condo was extremely clean, everything you could need. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This cozy spot has everything we needed for an extended beach getaway. Fan favorites include the quiet patio for sunset dinners, easy parking, clean space, light and windows, and Indie Yoga - the hot yoga studio just a few blocks away. We enjoyed fish tacos at South Beach Bar and Grill, climbing down the cliffs to explore the tide pools, and some pampering at Details Salon and Spa. Morning walks to Point Loma Nazarene University make for the most beautiful workout in OB, San Diego's best walkable community. Property Manager Lisa was responsive and friendly. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Enjoyed a week long family vacation in San Diego. The views from the property were stunning. We enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Also close to major attractions (Sea World, Zoo, Whale Watching Tours). House was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in the Ocean Beach area.

Great condo in nice location near tide pools. My son and I loved walking down by the tide pools each evening. We watched the waves and looked for little crabs. The condo was very clean and exactly what we needed.

I booked this property for the location (three blocks to Newport Ave.) and the view, but the condo greatly exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful, spacious, well-stocked, and full of all the necessary amenities and more. Highlights included a parking space, A/C, a comfy bed, a great shower, and a washer/dryer combo. The host, Lisa, was friendly, responsive and helpful. This was one of the best VRBOs I've ever stayed at. (The only downside is that it's pet-free, as I wish I could bring my dog next time.) I'll absolutely stay there again in the future!

This is our second time staying here. Such a great location. It’s safe, walking distance to most everything, shared patio overlooking the cliffs and ocean, and so incredibly clean. It truly feels like a relaxing retreat to come “home” to after being out and about throughout the day. Would recommend over and over to stay here. We will be back!

I loved the Cliffside Getaway! It was spotlessly clean, well appointed with furniture and amenities that look like new. The shared patio is right on the cliffs and looks out to the beautiful Pacific. Lisa is a great communicator, made check in a breeze, and responded right away when I reached out. I grew up in Point Loma and return every year. This place is at the top of my list.

Condo is perfectly located… not too close (away from noise) and within walking distance to beach, restaurants and bars. The unit was as advertised and more! This was our first time to San Diego, and learned that the convenience of an in-city airport means that the whole city adapts and Ocean Beach gets some of the disadvantages, but much less then other parts of the city. This did not diminish our stay. We would stay again.

We loved our stay here! We were in the area for a wedding. We wanted to have beautiful views but also have a place to wind down and relax with our children after long days in the sun. We liked having a kitchen and living space as we have children, and it helped it to feel a bit more like home. The views were breathtaking in the shared space in the back. Check-in was super easy, and everything met or exceeded expectations. Thank you for making our first trip to the San Diego area memorable!

Stay was great for me and my daughter. We loved the back patio. Only complaint was the listing said washer and dryer. It only had a washer. If it was a combo unit, I couldn’t figure it out. I also couldn’t get the dishwasher to turn on. But other than that everything was great! The location was perfect as well. I was highly recommend this place.

We stayed in this cottage for our short weekend visit to San Diego. The host was very helpful and the place was amazing. We stayed with our two younger children ages 3 and 5. There was plenty of space for us all and everything we needed was available. From the beach toys, kitchen appliances, and bedding. We can tell that they thought about everyone’s needs. The location is amazing. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the beach. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Great ocean side property. Very beachy feel and very clean. There are a lot of cars parked on the streets of Ocean Beach. This property has its own parking spot, which makes it more appealing. Host is quick to respond to questions, even left us umbrellas so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced by the rain. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

The space was very roomy, simple, and elegant. The patio overlooking the ocean and tidal pools was the best. We lucked out on dates and only one other tenant was there using the pario, so it was like our personal space. Might be a bit off putting if crowded.

We loved everything about the condo….as others have said, the view from the shared balcony was awesome even on the day it flooded; the host is super responsive and helpful, comfortable be, and the kitchen was one of the best-equipped I have stayed in. We had several breakfasts and one dinner in the condo and the rest of our meals at the great restaurants within walking distance in Ocean Beach. Spent our last day in Tijuana and crossing the border was a snap with Global Entry. Highly recommend this rental for beach lovers traveling to San Diego.
