Better places are easy to find.

Just the location

Plumbing did not work and no shower for days. Sheets and comforter were extremely thin and overly worn. No response about plumbing when staff informed.

The room was so cold and I requested a banquet and they refused to give us one, they said they can only give you the one blanket. i had to sleep very cold.

Safe budget friendly stay.

A couple of blocks away to parks, restaurants and markets. Staff were nice and attentive. Breakfast options were delicious!

Room smelled damp due to rain damage on sill hidden behind curtains. Bed frame and mattress desperately needs to be replaced. Mini fridge is extremely noisy. Bathroom sink leaked and had a black trash bag crumbled up underneath to catch the water. Shower nozzles sensitive when gaging hot, cold mixture. Limited sitting space to eat breakfast if more than 2 people stay in the room.

The position, very close to the center of coyoacan. We felt safe staying there with a toddler. The garden very nice. The availability of the staff.

It wasn't clean as we would expected: the couch cover and the pillows weren't clean, very dusty blanket on it, the bed headboard was dusty and full of hairs, so we covered it with one of our scarves, the bathroom shelves rusty and the shower smelly. The matress was uncomfortable.

Great location and clean, but stuffy, closed-in room

Location and price were excellent; the shower was great and the room felt very clean (kudos to the cleaning staff). Once we got to the property, check-in was smooth and the housekeeping lady was always there to help us with more toilet paper or anything else we needed. Bed was comfortable.

The photos of the room were misleading. I don't know if all the "suites" have no window, but ours and at least one other certainly don't - they open into the hallway without a window, so the room was very humid especially after a shower and we had to leave the door open into the hallway. That being said, we did sleep ok once we'd aired the room out, but it felt concerning to not have a window. If this is a concern for you, maybe try booking the "loft" or "garden view" rooms. Secondly, the hotel contacted us the day before we checked in threatening to cancel our reservation unless we sent them 500 pesos via a third party app that didn't accept our credit cards. The hotel was unresponsive via Booking's message system (stock responses only). When we contacted them via WhatsApp, they clarified that the 500 peso deposit was "preferred" but not necessary, and we didn't pay it. This was weird and stressful, but ultimately our reservation continued as expected.

it was very basic, but for the price they offered for a solo room…it was a great stay. The balcony and garden views offered a relaxing vibe and the neighborhood was lovely without a bunch of dorks from the US putting a damper on the vibe. Lydia, who runs the show at Pepper My Love, was also very friendly, sweet and helpful.

I honestly wished the room could’ve had a microwave or an clothing iron, but those are little things and won’t ruin your stay.

Great location for a short visit

This is a great location in Coyoacán. The small garden was nice, and Senõra Lydia was very helpful. It was very clean and very safe.

There were no rugs in my room, the hot water was a bit tricky in the shower. Wi-Fi went in and out.

Very large room with large bathroom and shower with hot water. New TV with Netflix and Hulu included good WIFI. Room has small fridge. Balcony with pleasant look over citrus garden. Staff were very pleasant.

The mattress in my room needs replaced. Had to sleep on one side of bed. A arm chair could have been hand.

Lovely lady Lidia trying to juggle so much work on her own. Lidia was helpful, polite and caring. Great lady.

The bed was bowed. Insufficient clothes hanging facilities. You have to pay to use the TV. Guests can sit right outside your French windows in the garden area so if you have that room you can’t open your curtains in the morning. the hot water tap in the bathroom washbasin did not work. You can badly knock your head on the sharp corners of the stone pillars which are located in the bathroom. The partitions that separate each room aren’t sound proofed you can hear every sound from the other rooms. The l location is great. You can see that the original house before it became a hotel, was a beautiful house. We enjoyed our stay at the property because Lidia the housekeeper is so delightful, helpful and caring.

the garden was lovely, and the room clean, quiet from street noise, and good illumination.

The bed is the worst I ever had, hard, made like plastic material, uncomfortable, my back is in pain, the doors are not the best at all and I can hear the other visitors talking all night, in resume, I’ll never back, it’s a pity cuz the personal was polite.

extremely cold water in the shower, terrible food (honestly inedible, I had to throw it away. it was cold, puddles of oil floating in the sauce, the eggs were dry and had no salt, waffles were frozen still) hard beds, and staff could care a lot more about the clients.

fantastic location two blocks from the plaza in a quiet neighborhood. everything was clean and the balcony had a lovely view. hot water shower and working fridge and fan. staff was friendly

the balcony is shared, the bidet didn’t work, the mattress was crushed and slanted on one side. nobody cleaned the room or took out trash during our 5 day stay but they gave us extra TP when we asked

Awfull service (manager)! They need to improve big time and follow Booking’s reservation prices and alignments. They were charging and charged more without respecting my reservation at all. They hade me waiting for hours in the middle of the night, they wouldn’t provide me with the room or any at all referring it was Booking’s error on prices and room availability. 2AM after several and unpleasant conversations the cleaning lady decided to help us. ¡AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

I really like the location, we love the place. my wife and I stayed in at Pepper my Love every time we travel to Mexico for the past 4 years.

This is the first time we felt very uncomfortable sleeping in the bed and the sofa cama. It felt old the bed and the sofa cama (a big hole on it), they need to change the bed.
