Vacation with my 85 year old mom who hasn’t been to Hawaii in 20 years as well as my youngest son and daughter in law who are pregnant with my first grandchild. Haliikai 15b was by far one of the best places I’ve stayed for vacation! The owners have definitely exceeded our expectations with the amenities and everything provided in the condo that one would need! There was not one thing that we had to go and purchase! The owners were very responsive and kept me updated with details prior to our visit. We will definitely re-book for the next visit!

Our God makes such beautiful places!! The property is amazing. We had everything we needed and more. Beds slept well. Had coffee (furnished) watching the sunrise and the blue Pacific water. Area was beautiful and quite. Snorkeling gear and other fun time stuff provided. Took a lava rock path to see the sunrise. Pool was great, restaurant food was good and staff was nice. Lots to do in the area. Food is expensive but Walmart is only 20 or so miles away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was well stocked with beach gear, so that made packing much easier. The views were amazing - we saw several whales while sitting on the patio. The proximity to golf courses was excellent. One thing to note, the pool closes at 8:00 and if you were going there later in the day, they seemed to frequently run out of towels.

This was our second stay in Kerry & Sue's unit and it was every bit as good as the first one. Sue worked alongside her cleaners to allow us to check in a few hours early and she was a joy to meet. The unit is outfitted with every cooking utensil, dish, pot, food storage item as well as boogie boards, fins, beach towels and lots of coffee pods. The location is spectacular with ever-changing ocean views off the patio and a just short stroll to the Beach Club. Just minutes from golf courses. Sue was extremely responsive to our needs and suggested a few ideas for activities and fresh fish purchases that we really enjoyed. This is five stars in every way and we look forward to our next visit.

Condo was clean with kitchen supplies, games, dvds and outdoor activity supplies. In a great location for access to multiple beaches along with shopping, restaurants and grocery.

I would highly recommend this unit! The oceanfront location (and outdoor lanai) is amazing and the condo complex itself is super conveniently located and has all the benefits of a larger hotel without the crowds. The unit was absolutely spotless and was literally the best stocked/equipped unit I have ever rented. They thought of everything! Sue and Kerry were very responsive and fixed a minor issue immediately. I would absolutely stay there again! It was perfect for our family of four!

I usually don’t give reviews but I had to say something because this place exceeded our expectations! A Wonderful place it had beautiful view from the lanai which made a great spot to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunsets at night. The condo was outfitted with everything we needed and was a comfortable place to relax. fishermans trail is right off the lanai and leads to 49 black sand beach, a great beach for snorkeling and relaxing, only about a 10 minute walk on the historic trail. The hosts were very welcoming and able to help with any issues. They gave us a great recommendation for our 20th anniversary dinner, Ulu was just the place we were looking for. The ocean club was close by and had great food and drinks as well as a nice pool. I would highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful condo, first floor, lanai, ocean view., exceptionally clean. Early morning & sunset views of ocean & ocean life incredible. Hali’i Kai 15-B. Sue & Kerry McClelland wonderful hosts & were available if anything was needed. Washer/dryer/dishwasher/ 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms… condo was all stocked up & many sports & beach gear provided. Condo right in the center of Waikoloa next to the Hilton & shopping & golf courses. Bonus.. Ocean club with restaurant/ bar/ multiple pools/ hot tub & workout room within 100 yds. Safe & secure gated community. Had a wonderful 2 weeks with daughter & grandkids & 2nd week with friends. Would definitely come back!!!! Thank you Sue & Kerry

We stayed for five nights with our two young daughters. Everything was fabulous! I will always remember eating meals in the patio and watching a baby whale breaching over and over out in the ocean. The pool access was perfect for our kids. We loved being able to eat at The Ocean Club while watching the sunset and then walking the 3 minutes back to the condo. We loved having beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and a boogie board to take to the beach. Great location close to beautiful beaches. The owners were fabulous with communication. Overall we had a five star experience and we are dreaming of coming back!

This unit exceeded our expectations. The development has everything right at your fingertips; from restaurants, markets, bike rentals, and pubs to golf courses. The Beach Club is a short stroll from the unit and has a wonderful free-form pool, restaurant and bar. The unit itself in in great shape and comes with top quality appliances, utensils etc. as well as everything one could ask for in terms of beach chairs, towels, sporting equipment, and binoculars for watching the ever-present whales and even Spinner Dolphins. The views from the patio are spectacular and we've never seen Humpback Whales so close to the shore. We are so impressed that we just booked a longer stay in the unit in 2024.

The pool area is great, several nights we went to watch the sunset at the pool and then enjoyed dinner afterward. Everything was delicious, especially the mai tais😁. We enjoyed our time staying in Hali'i Kai. The accommodations were very nice, and appeared as described. The location of the unit was great, in that it had a direct sea view and was a very short walk to the clubhouse and pool. Our family enjoyed using the pool and hot tub, and we ate at the restaurant multiple times because the food was quite good and it was so convenient to walk there rather than get in the car and drive elsewhere. There is a walking path called fisherman's trail right outside the property that we used to walk to the Hilton Waikoloa one day (so the kids could go to Dolphin Quest and spend a day at the resort pools) and to walk to the 49 Black Sand beach. The walk takes you along some very impressive coastline.

First, this place is fabulous. It is EXACTLY as described in the photos and (if possible) even cleaner. The unit has all high-end appliances, the beds are super comfy, the location is five stars with breathtaking views, and located right next to the clubhouse which has a restaurant and lovely pool area. We did read the reviews on the clubhouse before coming but found the staff to be very helpful and nice (note: dinner at 6 pm is a madhouse and they don't allow you to have a water bottle at the pool but otherwise the staff is very friendly). The check-in process was very straightforward and the owners were very nice and easy to work with! We do only have one note for guests - the unit is on the first floor and during the first two days of our stay we had a very loud family upstairs from us (kids wrestling and playing above our bed until 9:30 +) was aggravating but otherwise only a minor inconvenience. We would, and will rent this unit again - it was PERFECT!

This was such an incredible property and trip. The home is lovely and nestled right on the ocean. There is a walking trail along the shoreline and everything is so well set up. Sue and Kerry are incredibly responsive and delightful to work with. They were incredibly responsive at even the smallest issue. We enjoyed our stay and were thankful for the Ocean Bar & Grill for the yummy food (fried green beans) and Mai Tais! The pool are is quite lovely, overlooking the ocean. The condo was clean with all the little things you need to go to the beach - boogie boards, coolers, snorkles etc. It was furnished nice with comfortable beds and furniture. We loved waking up to see the ocean first thing. We spent time dining and reading on the patio each morning and the gorgeous sunsets at night. it was also very quiet for the most part. It was convenient for driving to the beautiful beaches in the surrounding the area. You can hike on the lava out front down to a couple of coves for snorkeling. Aloha!

Wonderful property, location and hosts! Exceeded expectations in all regards. Breakfast on the lanai with stunning ocean views were such a great way to start our days, and Ocean Club/pool just a few steps away for food and tasty drinks. Well appointed condo with plenty of beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear etc. Great location whether staying in resort or roaming the island on day trips. Just wish we could stay longer, but we hope to return soon!

Kerry and Sue were absolutely awesome in their communication and recommendations for us! The property was new, clean, and had everything we needed (everything). Kitchen has everything and we really appreciated the beach & snorkeling gear (they have chairs, umbrellas, boards, snorkeling gear). The complex is great as is the pool & little bar/restaurant! We wasted our money on a resort pass for the Hilton next door one day and would have rather just stayed at the complex’s pool instead and just walked the Hilton’s property (which is always nice). The view was incredible and we saw pods of dolphins in the morning and the sunsets never get old! Walking distance to a great snorkeling area in the lagoon by the Hilton. This place is perfect in every way & we can’t wait to come back.
