About this cabin rental
Welcome to Heaven’s Gate 1 — a pet-friendly cabin perched at the top of Ski Mountain in Chalet Village! Perfect for couples or small families, this cozy retreat offers incredible Smoky Mountain views, a private hot tub, and the chance to spot bears and other wildlife. Relax on the back deck overlooking Gatlinburg, or explore nearby attractions — close to downtown and convenient to Pigeon Forge. Guests have access to clubhouse amenities including pool.

Our cozy, one-level cabin is designed for a relaxing Smoky Mountain getaway. A few steps lead to the entrance, where you'll find an open-concept living area with a fully equipped kitchen stocked with basic cooking essentials, a dining table for four, and a comfortable living room featuring a wood-burning fireplace (firewood not provided) and a Smart TV. A convenient half bath is also located off the main living area.
The spacious master bedroom features a jacuzzi tub, while the attached master bathroom offers a stand-up shower. The living room also includes a queen-size pull-out sofa, making the cabin a comfortable choice for couples, small families, or up to four guests.
Step outside onto the enclosed deck to unwind in the private hot tub, relax in the rocking chairs, or enjoy a meal on the propane grill while taking in the peaceful mountain surroundings.
As our guest, you'll also have access to the Chalet Village Owners Club amenities, including seasonal swimming pools, tennis courts, and a fitness room.
Because our cabin sits adjacent to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, wildlife sightings—including black bears—are a normal part of the mountain experience. It's not uncommon to spot bears wandering through the property or even exploring the deck, especially if they're drawn by food scents from the grill. We ask guests to enjoy these incredible animals from a safe distance and never approach or feed them.
Please Note:
- The drive to the cabin is fully paved but includes steep, narrow and winding mountain roads.
- The driveway entrance is steep and may not be suitable for lowered vehicles.
- Parking is limited to one vehicle.
- We are pet-friendly! Well-behaved pets are welcome with a pet fee.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the drive there and the tight parking. I wanted a cabin with a view and knew that means climbing a mountain, but it wasn't until I received the welcome packet that I learned it was a very steep, curvy, and often narrow 15 minute drive. I think that should be in the listing. The one parking spot is flat but tight to

We enjoyed how CLEAN the home was. We had THE BEST SLEEP down there that we haven’t had in a long time. Kept the number and will be going back
