The Enchantment Chamber

This property is every Harry Potter fans dream, it had a very cosy feel and very well thought out in regards to decor right down to the finer details. The bathroom is modern and clean, shower was luxurious. Close to the main city and shambles market, with supermarkets just a short walk away, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Although nothing can be done about this but the location of the apartment in the building was a bit of a mission but not an issue if you’re not in and out all day.

Great for Harry Potter fans - excellent attention to detail with the theming. Good location for walking into the city centre. Most facilities included.

no hairdryer - despite this being listed lighting quite dim some cooking oil and kitchen roll would have been useful

The quirky Harry Potter design was brilliant. The bed was very comfortable and the night sky lights on the 4 poster bed were a lovely touch. The location was also great with a short walk to the main streets and it is very secure.

Only one bath and hand towel for 4 days was not enough. Especially when it is hot and people shower more. Requested additional towels but they never came. Apartment was very warm but there was no fan or air conditioning unit and couldn't open windows as when we did pigeons came in.

This was close to the centre of town. Bed was comfortable enough.

Can be difficult to find as the postcodes provided lead you to stairs beside the river so it was quite confusing, eventually we did find the door but better directions of what to do when the post code leads you there would have been great. When we eventually got to the apartment after a long day of travelling we wanted a shower... water was FREEZING. I messaged through booking.com and although we received a message back of how to "boost" the hot water, we waited an hour and a half for this and it was still cold so we just gave up and had a cold shower. The next morning thankfully it was hot, but if youre with somebody and they wanted longer than 4-5 mins in the shower then your shower will be cold. If you're a woman good luck. Washing my hair was a task I just didnt bother with because I knew the water would go cold. The rest of the place was okay, the decor was nice. But its covered in dust. Mold on the shower door and silver fish too. Anytime I took a plate or bowl, even cutlery out of the cupboards I had to wash them as they were filthy and had dried food on them. Honestly expected a lot more and it has so much potential but would not reccomend this or stay again.
