The accommodation is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town. My wife and found the rural setting (right next to a beautiful stream) very peaceful. Izumi the owner and host is outstanding. He couldn't have done more to make our stay better. We also loved the traditional Japanese breakfast carefully prepared by Izumi every morning. Made breakfast very special. We were sad to leave after our 4 day stay to be honest and would love to return in the future. Special mention and thanks to Harumi who assists Izumi and also does an amazing job as well as making beautiful handicrafts.

We had a wonderful experience. Place is well-maintained, clean with a balcony with a beautiful view. Place was perfect for us to unwind after a long day. Host Izumi speaks excellent English and prepared excellent breakfasts for us. His attention to detail and generosity is truly appreciated.

We loved Izumi and his B&B! Izumi was a very kind and generous host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We loved that his home was out of the more touristy areas and nestled on the border of the national park, with gorgeous views of the creek and forest. He is an excellent cook (make sure you order the Japanese breakfast!), and his gentle attention to detail made us feel special. It was the best accommodation we have had in Japan! Thank you Izumi for your hospitality.
