Our host Izumi-san was fantastic. The location. For us was perfect: calm and peacefully. Japanese breakfast excellent.

The host, Izumi-san, and the housekeeper, Harumi-san, made us feel at home with kindness and generosity. We loved the calm and relaxed atmosphere. Izumi made an excellent Japanese breakfast and explained every dish to us. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and the balcony faces an enchanting stream. Fresh yukata are provided everyday. The house is close to Nikko's major shrines and smaller hidden gems.
We loved everything. We stayed 4 nights and wished we stayed longer.

The accommodation is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town. My wife and found the rural setting (right next to a beautiful stream) very peaceful. Izumi the owner and host is outstanding. He couldn't have done more to make our stay better. We also loved the traditional Japanese breakfast carefully prepared by Izumi every morning. Made breakfast very special. We were sad to leave after our 4 day stay to be honest and would love to return in the future. Special mention and thanks to Harumi who assists Izumi and also does an amazing job as well as making beautiful handicrafts.
