Family friendly home near Northstar ski resort and Lake Tahoe. Safeway nearby

This was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed at. By far, Peggy is the most generous host we've had the pleasure of renting from. She was quick to respond and very kind to interact with when it came to any questions that we had. The house is so well supplied, from everything you could ever need in the kitchen (appliances, gadgets, dishes) to bedding, towels, soaps etc. There are so many things that she has provided for all ages to do while there at the house... games, puzzles, toys for toddlers, books. You name it. The deck out back was so relaxing and quiet, backed up to forest land. Perfect for the times we bbq'd out there.We've stayed in Tahoe many times and the location of this home is perfect for so many day trips, either around Tahoe itself or if you want to head to Truckee etc. It was quiet and so easy for coming and going. Minutes from the lake, the market, restaurants. But you wouldn't even know you were that close because the neighborhood is very peaceful being just a couple miles away.We really felt like we had been given the keys to the home of friends while they were out of town. We would absolutely rent this home again for our next trip to the area. Thank you, Peggy!!

The cabin was perfect! We had such a lovely time. It was clean and spacious. All the instructions and supplies were easy to find and well labeled. It was cozy and sweet and close to amenities for a quick grocery run or trip to the beach. Will definitely plan on staying again the next time we’re in Tahoe

This cabin is roomy and comfortable, with furnishings in very good condition. Very functional kitchen for cooking and socializing. The neighborhood is nice, and so close to both Northstar and the lake. The place was cleaned well but was missing dishwasher soap and the hot water was still turned down, which we didn't notice until we needed them. (A big storm arrived so host could not reach us on the dishwasher soap and we couldn't go out.) So not a 5 this time but absolutely would come here again and expect a 5 star.

This place was absolutely amazing, beyond our expectations. The house is spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for a family vacation. One thing we truly appreciated was how fully equipped the kitchen was so many appliances and cooking tools provided, it really felt like a home away from home.The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning winter views that made the stay even more special. Waking up every morning to such a lovely environment was a joy.The host was exceptional extremely helpful, responsive, and kind throughout our stay. Communication was smooth, and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish.This vacation was very meaningful for our family, and staying in this home made it even more special. Our dream of experiencing a winter holiday finally came true, and this place played a big part in creating those unforgettable memories.Highly recommended. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you for being part of our beautiful and memorable winter getaway.
