De rust en beschikbare ruimte in het huis. Daarnaast ligt het huis op een zeer rustige plek qua verkeer. Nauwelijks enig autoverkeer. Verder mooi gelegen t.o.v. de pas, diverse hele mooie wandelingen op hoogte, een heel fijn restaurant op loopafstand, winkels, bakker restaurantjes in Arvieux en la Chalp op enkele minuten rijden. Contact met de eigenaar was heel plezierig.
Er wordt zo hier en daar aan de buitenkant van het complex nog gewerkt, bijvoorbeeld bij de hoofdingang. Het hout aan de gevel ziet er wat verweerd uit. Maar binnen was alles functioneel en redelijk netjes afgewerkt. Tip: de koffiepads van Malongo zijn verkrijgbaar bij de Proxi in Arvieux (even vragen).
