This is a great place. We had some issues with the pool. It was too hot. Couldn't swim until after the sun went down. Finally found the boiler and turned it down. It was extremely hot. The weather was 104 and the pool was 98 degrees.

To start this review I have to give big credit to Dan Dekker and his crew for setting everything up. This includes getting us into the place a little early after stopping by our table and introducing himself. The vacation was great, start to finish. The house was amazing and met all of our needs. The beds were very comfortable. The water softener and filtered water were a great bonus. Everything is clean, stocked with all the dry goods we needed, and well maintained. The restaurant, pro shop and golf facilities were great. We ended up eating at the restaurant multiple times instead of driving into town because of the great food and service.

This house was an ideal location being right next to the pool. The downside to this location was the pond out back. Ducks and geese were making noises all through the night waking us up. We also couldn’t sleep well knowing there were mice in the house. Our first night we all were going to bed and someone found mouse poop in their bed. And then we discovered there was mouse poop all over the house. We were refunded our first night, which was great, and we were allowed to get a full refund so we could go somewhere else , but we couldn’t find a place for all of us to go so we had to stay. The pest control guy told us due to the rain this had been a problem for many of the homes and a couple of houses down there was a mouse infestation in one of the homes. Dan was helping us with everything and he was quick to get back to us. The carpet was absolutely disgusting and dirty. Our feet were black so we had to wear socks at all times. Whoever is doing their cleaning isn’t doing a good job. All vents have dust chunks on them. The house really is a great size and beds are comfortable, and it’s fully stocked with everything you need, it just needs a good deep clean and the mice need to go! If they weren’t so helpful and didn’t try their best to helps us I would have given them the lowest rating I could, but they really did try to make it right.
