About this country house rental
Situated above the countryside on a private hilltop overlooking the southern Marche region of Italy, this 18th century farmhouse has been carefully restored to retain it’s traditional character and original historic structure.
The stone construction and lofty timber ceilings open into fresh whitewashed interiors that give it that laid back country feel that extends throughout the property. Furnished with local antiques and a mix of vintage finds, beautiful linens and modern touches, it’s a relaxing and authentic country home. Arranged over two floors, the living area and kitchen with dining area are bright communal gathering spaces that open out to the gardens. Both the master bedroom and the additional guest room sit in the timbered eves and are private and romantic escapes with lovely views. There is an additional garden room that features an outdoor shower and charming comforts. The dining terrace allows for up to eight to dine alfresco under the pergola and has daybeds for lounging with stunning panoramic views across the countryside.

Abbiamo scelto la location perchè cercavamo un luogo appartato, nel verde, sulle colline marchigiane. La casa è molto carina, in un posto meraviglioso, ben arredata, con alcune pecche. Innanzitutto non ha 2 bagni, ma uno all'interno ed una doccia-lavandino-wc all'esterno, poco utilizzabile. Ci sono un wifi che funziona bene, lavatrice e lavastoviglie, ma manca un forno a microonde. All'interno manca un tavolo grande per tutta la famiglia, quindi se piove e non si può utilizzate il tavolo nel bellissimo patio non si sa bene come sistemarsi. Abbiamo avuto molti problemi con insetti in quanto inizialmente le zanzariere non erano sigillate contro il muro, con spazi grossi da cui gli insetti potevano entrare facilmente (abbiamo fatto sigillare, devo dire che chi si occupa della casa, Adela e Matt, sono molto solleciti e carini). Abbiamo trovato in casa alcuni scorpioni. Una casa quindi bellissima, su un balcone naturale con una vista meravigliosa, avvolta da un grande silenzio, ma adatta a chi non teme qualche scomodità e i piccoli inconvenienti della vita di campagna.
