This penthouse level, 3BR/3BA condo is perched at the very top of Luau I, a few hundred yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Each bedroom offers a king size bed and its own full bath equipped with handheld showerheads. The living area is open with gorgeous views and offers a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. The kitchen is fully equipped and the balcony is where you will spend most of your time, taking in the breathtaking views of the Emerald Coast!

You can expect beautiful ocean views from the lockout bedroom, hallway bedroom, living room, & dining area of the main suite. The kitchen was very well stocked, & we appreciated the generous starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. There were also several beach chairs, umbrellas, & beach toys provided.The balcony view wasn’t quite as impressive as we had hoped, & since it was only partially covered, the rain during our first three days made it a bit challenging— with no indoor pool on the property.The battery-operated roll-up shades were excellent for blocking out the sunlight, & we really appreciated the convenience of the in-room laundry facilities. The washing machine does leak from the door seal & could use a good cleaning. We ran an empty cycle first & made sure to remove laundry promptly once the cycle finished. It’s also important to leave the washer door open when not in use to avoid unpleasant odors.The outdoor pool was the perfect temperature for relaxing throughout the day & evening. The hot tub, while a bit too warm for my personal comfort in the Florida heat, was still a nice feature—just be aware that it did bleach my swimsuit. That’s more of a personal preference than a complaint against the resort.We would recommend both the condo & the property. Just a heads-up: you’ll want to head to the beach early, due to 3 to 4 rows of rental chairs & umbrellas blocking the view of the shoreline.

We had a great time! The condo was great with the exception of the master bed. The bed took life out of our bodies due to how uncomfortable. The last night we sleep in the guestroom with our daughter which saved us the last night. Hopefully they will change the mattress. Other than crawling out of bed every morning to the hot shower, our stay was great.

Luau is a great property, we enjoy staying there. This unit has a good view of the beach and the bay.

When we arrived at 3am Thursday morning, the door codes were not working. It took us a good hour to finally contact someone, and they were able to get us in with a temporary code.
A locksmith had to come out later and activate new codes and replace the batteries in each of the two doors.
We’d like to be compensated for one night, if that’s not to much to ask.
