We loved our stay at the Islander. It was clean, convenient, great location, and had great amenities, especially for those with kiddos! Would definitely recommend and will plan on staying here again on our next trip to Destin!

Overall, as usual had a great stay at the Islander. We have been coming to the Islander for several years. This time we stayed in unit 108. While this unit supplied our needs for our stay. The couch and loveseat in this unit are filthy. They are need of much replacement. We were even sure about sitting on them. Other than that we had a great time during our stay and of course we love Alan at the beach! Always good to see him every visit. The east pool was great too. See you next visit.

First impressions, upon entering our unit we noticed that the whole place was not clean from the last visitors. It was evident that the cleaning lady left in the beginning stages of cleaning, we promptly reported this to the front desk who told us she already left for the day. The front desk woman was kind enough to come provide us with a bed change, fresh towels, and some free condo perch to help. She also refunded our cleaning fee for the stay and set up to have housekeeping come by the next day. I lucky read prior reviews and took cleaning supplies and trash bags for our stay. The overall experience was ok. The unit is dated and could use a really good cleaning and maintenance, especially in the bathrooms. We really enjoyed the location to the beach and the town.
