This is one of those places that actually lives up to the insane pictures. It's a warm, inviting space with an amazing view and quite a functional kitchen for those who want to stay in and cook, which is actually a pretty good plan with the amazing patio. Bill was friendly and super responsive and took time to show us all the details of this wonderful property. It's also insanely close to downtown Carmel and the Mission Trail Park, an excellent mini-hike that's great for pets as well.

We had an exceptional stay at the Mid Century Modern property—truly outstanding in every way. The home was easy to find and conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, making it the perfect blend of peaceful retreat and accessibility.Bill was a wonderful host. He greeted us upon arrival and personally walked us through the property, which was a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire stay.The home itself is spectacular, with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. The backyard was a highlight—beautifully landscaped with lush plants and gardens, and thoughtfully designed for relaxing and gathering. We especially enjoyed spending time outside at the large table and in the comfortable lounge chairs, taking in the stunning scenery. The hot tub was another great feature, particularly on cooler mornings.This is a special property that we would absolutely return to—and hope to do so. Thank you again, Bill, for a fantastic experience!

Not very pet (or young child) friendly. There was alot of knick-knacks. So much that we felt we had to be very careful not to knock something off a table or stand or something and break it. We did not leave our dog alone, as we were worried he might accidentally break something. It was okay, though, as the beach and town are very dog friendly! Good location, and comfortable.
