Unfortunately the pool was not open because there had been bad weather.

The place was amazing! We were staying there in the beginning of April and were the only guests there. The family was super friendly, and really made an effort to help us when we told them we were learning Italian. The breakfast was delicious, as well as dinner. The dogs, goats and chickens were cute :) we would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back sometime!

Great calm location to enjoy family time. Location is very close to beautiful Matera.
Very minor issue: the TV was always on in the restaurant area.

The marvelous view, the excellent italian breakfast with lots of fruits, the very friendly owners, the dinner in the nice dining hall, one night we got a bunch of bread, cheese and fruits instead although the owners were out for family affairs (which was great because we were with bicycles at Petra Lucana, had a very long tour during that day and didn't want to go out anymore)
The shower needs a new head, the fridge was a bit noisy, the room was not made during our stay
