Clean and warm
Needed gd overhaul paper hanging off and a bit scruffy looking
We went to see our favourite band and the table system was rubbish so ended up without seats
Also food middle of the road

All the staff are just so helpful and attentive. We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is so lovely and clean considering it allows dogs made it perfect for us. To be able to take our little dog and not leave her with family.
The food was great, so happy to have the proper Steak pie.
Would we stay again... Definitely

No steak pie on the first night but having it on the second made up for that.

We had breakfast on the second morning of our 2 night stay. It was lovely. We have had drinks in this hotel previously but not stayed over night, The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Howard arms. The cosy fire in the bar was most welcome
There was nothing that we didn't like about our stay. Probably parking as there is no private car park attached to the hotel.
This was not a problem for us as lots of spaces outside the Howard arms.
