About this house rental
Bolton Cove is a relaxing, family-owned and operated vacation home community located in beautiful Lake Martin's Parker Creek area. Lake Martin was created in 1926 by damming the Tallapoosa River was, with over 750 miles of shoreline, the largest man-made lake in the world. Bolton Cove itself is a gated community of only a few homes offering many amenities such as a community swimming pool, pool house, private beach, large community boat dock, and playground.
As with all homes in Bolton Cove, 9 Cricket Lane is located directly on the water. This 2-story home has 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms and offers wonderful views of the lake from the living room, master bedroom, and 2 lakeside porches. The upstairs porch also features a gas grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances such as a refrigerator, cooktop, stove, Keurig coffee maker, and a wine cooler. We also provide plates, glasses, utensils, bowls, pots, and pans for your next gathering.
The living room and master bedroom both have gas fireplaces if you need to warm up.
With the 3 bedrooms, the master has a king bed with a private bathroom, the guest bedroom has 2 full beds and shares a bathroom with the kids’ bedroom having 2 sets of bunk beds. All beds have sheets and blankets, and we also provide soap, shampoo, and towels in all bathrooms.
There is private Wi-Fi throughout the home and the televisions in the living room and bedrooms are all SmartTVs with Spectrum cable so you can enjoy your favorite shows.
Bolton Cove is conveniently located only minutes by car or boat to popular places like Willow Point, Catherine’s Market, SpringHouse restaurant, Children’s Harbor, and the Landing restaurant.
OPTIONAL PONTOON BOAT: Enjoy the lake with our optional 22-foot pontoon boat. With a 115-horsepower engine, you can pull the kids on a tube or just cruise the lake with your friends and family. If you are interested in renting the pontoon boat for an additional $300 per day plus gas, which is available May 1 - October 1. Please ask in advance so we can confirm availability.

We have a very large family and these 4 houses in this gated community are perfect for us. The pool is great and plenty of room for boats and jet skis at the dock. Loads of fun!!! Excellent host is very responsive and prompt.

We rented all four houses on the property. Courtland was responsive and communicative. House nine was as described. Cortland addressed concerns about the property in a timely manner. There was a broken refrigerator/freezer in the pool house that was replaced within one day, air conditioners in other houses were not working well they were fixed within two days, other minor issues were addressed. Courtland reimbursed us for the boat,a day for the houses with broken a/c (not house 9), and error in the description of the number of bedrooms in one house. I would recommend house 9. We had other major issues with bats and mold in houses 10 and 12 that Courtland said he would address after we left. Overall, all of the houses need a thorough deep clean and attention to detail. Plants need to be clipped back so that they are not overgrown into the boardwalk areas, floor mats/rugs need to be placed on the floor in front of entry doors, particularly the side door where people have wet, sandy feet, as they enter the house. Overall, we felt the stay in house 9 was good. The outdoor areas included the dock, pool, pool house, concrete bulkhead, and beach were awesome. Despite the issues, we did enjoy the stay and if all issues could be resolved would recommend the entire resort. As an independent rental, house 9 was good.
