Absolutely loved the location and the views. There were a couple issues with breakers when we arrived that were resolved quickly. Unfortunately we had a similar problem the next day and I think my call at the answering service wasn’t forwarded as I had to call back after not getting a response for a few hours. Once I talked to someone the issue was resolved quickly and easily.
The house itself was nice, but did seem a bit neglected in some ways - mainly due to the holes and stains on some of the throw pillows on the couches. I would also recommend having the suitcase holders available so guests can unpack. I had to unbury the one in the king bedroom as it was buried under pillows and I had no where else to put my suitcase or anywhere to unpack. The outside of the property also could use a power wash and maintenance. I understand cobwebs, but we felt like we had to clean all the outdoor furniture before we enjoyed it.
Overall it was a lovely stay, the management was responsive despite a small hiccup, and we would certainly recommend them. The small details o mentioned were minor and hopefully this is good feedback for the owners to improve upon for future guests. Thanks for having us, we will likely use your properties again in the future!

The location cannot be beat. Access to water is amazing. The actual house is run down and lack luster. The furniture is very worn - when I sat on the main couch upstairs, I fell INTO it - it's like the support is gone or broken for the cushions. The lamps are mostly broken - tilting, can't pull the cord or the whole thing falls off the table. One of the fans was broken, so we had to lean it up against the wall and couldn't put it in the window, which didn't help with cooling the bedroom off. I cleaned the dishwasher filter - it seemed like it hasn't been done ever, or not in a very long time. There are mice behind the hearth at the fireplace upstairs - we saw three of them. Responsiveness by management was great. For the amount we spent to stay here, trash pick-up should be included. You will need to haul out your own garbage at the end of your vacation. Please note there is no air conditioning and there is also no washer and dryer in this "cabin." Our relatives own the property next door, and the proximity to them was perfect for a family trip. We'd love to do it again next year, but honestly don't think we'd want to stay here again. Overall the place is clearly a rental workhorse, with little attention or care to detail.
