About this house rental
Oceanside Vacation Rentals is proud to be managing this Cute & Cozy 2 story family friendly home. This property will bring back memories of going to grandma's for Vacation. There is a deck in front and back and is only 2 and a half blocks from the ocean, 3 blocks from a grocery store, and 3 blocks from Seaside Golf Course. Upon entering the house you will find the open area inviting and full of natural light. The living room is welcoming with a lovely gas fireplace which is comforting on cool evenings and early mornings. The living room area opens up into the Dining Room & Kitchen with all the modern appliances: gas stove/oven, dishwasher, frig, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, cookware and utensils (this kitchen is stocked with almost everything you can think of). Just off the kitchen is the laundry area with new washer/dryer combo and Rinnai water heater which keeps you continually with hot water. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, both rooms have brand new queen sized beds, and a remodeled bathroom in between. Both bedrooms have closet space as well as dressers for clothing & additional storage, etc.
The upstairs bedroom has two twin beds in a private bedroom, and an additional loft area with T.V. & DVD player and lots of space to sprawl out and relax w/ skylights for lots of additional natural light. The deck on the front of the house can be used for sitting, hanging out and enjoying the sunshine. The deck on the back of the house has a propane BBQ (seasonal). There is ample area outside for parking and for children to play. This home is a very popular house. It has everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach.

Wife and I stayed for 9 nights. Would stay again. Short walk to beach. Quiet at night (we were mostly gone during the day). Kitchen IS well stocked. Older home but nicely kept. Wish we had access to garage to store fishing poles, ice chests, etc.. Washer/dryer worked well. Small bathroom. OK for two people, Group of 3, 4, or more take this into consideration. We could not get fireplace insert to work. The wall heaters worked well but are a little noisy. Wasn't that cold during our stay so worked well for us. Bedroom windows could use a darker curtain option as the light from the porch and garage lights are on automatic and shine into the rooms. We chose the least bright and used that one. The fridge worked well although it makes an unusual noise every so often and we had to lay a towel on the top shelf because a puddle of water would accumulate on it. I guess during the freezer defrost cycle. Owner should also consider replacing many of the wall outlets because appliance and charger plugs do not fit snugly in them. Loose plugs in outlets is not ideal.Overall a great stay. Great communication with host. Great feel to home and neighborhood.

Really liked the house overall - great location! Loved the deck and would have loved the gas fireplace if we'd been able to turn it on (didn't work). Bed in the front bedroom needs a new mattress, badly. The kitchen needs some love. Would have appreciated newer dishes, cookware, and garbage can. Left a day early because I couldn't sleep. Disappointing but basically a great house - good bones, open floor plan!
